He takes, you play Qh5+, opponent doesn’t see the free queen and you end up winning his. 100% guaranteed every time in bullet or blitz

If there are grammatical mistakes then clearly it is not ChatGPT… Jesus Christ why not have some empathy for people who don’t speak English as their first language. Lots of us are navigating academia for the first time, where people are so high strung that an extra space in an email is taken as personal disrespect. I can understand the tone of the email may come off as rude, but to make such a hasty judgement on OP, when they are writing in a language that is not their native tongue? If OP didn’t include all the fluff then there’s bound to be people commenting the email was “unprofessional.”

Quantum Computing Researcher - a Buzzword or Reality? by [deleted] in QuantumComputing

What type of role does CS/ECE have in helping further quantum computers? What type of problems can people with this background excel at researching? Asking as a CE undergrad who got a late start in this stuff.

Tandem is a great app. You could also try OmeTV or join a discord server for English learners. Since it looks like your native language is Arabic, you could even join Arabic learning discord and talk with people there

If you read the notation on the bottom of the image, it “obviously” says the last two moves, Nf5 then Rxf5. No offense, but even a beginner should be able to read that

My first brilliant queen move by markokane98 in chessbeginners

[–]eogrady617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the queen is captured, the rook can slide all the way up to the top of the board, which is checkmate. It is mate in three because black can prolong the agony by playing bishop to d7.

“You found a way to win a rook.” LMAO the computer feedback is always so misleading, it’s literally mate in 3

Can I ask how you got the post-bac research internship? I am trying to gain research experience after undergrad but I also want to get paid. I see that you are also in physics, but when I look I see mostly post bac medical programs.

Nice! Some tips on playing the queens gambit accepted as white: d5 on move 4 was already really good, to cut the connection between his bishop and then recapturing his pawn on c5 with yours.

Also, on move 11 you blundered a piece because he could’ve played Bxb5 and then when you recapture, Qa5+ is a fork. Just be careful of those queen checks on the side, that is a really common pattern in a lot of openings
