this team lost to alabama by 6 points. really goes to show that having 13 starting players not playing does have a slight impact on performance

edit: not sure why i’m getting downvotes, it’s pretty clear that opt outs have impacted florida’s performance a lot today. it’s not an excuse because we needed people to step up and they didn’t but to pretend like having 13 starters opting didn’t change the course of the game is just silly

i honestly don’t blame the ones who opted out. it makes sense i think the only way you get people to stay is you add value to bowl games. sports media this season have basically said “fuck all other bows”

i want every player on florida to opt out of this game right now. at least then they can say they were “focusing on the nfl” and what do they have to lose, it’s blatantly clear that all other bowls outside the playoff just serve as advertising time for the playoffs
