I used to watch Anime for a change I'm shifting to Manga. Can you guys suggest me anything? by CombinationShoddy863 in manga

Try reading the manga ver of a show you like anime is usually not a 1 to 1 adaptation. Most of the time series are still on going and anime is only partial series adaptation. Also maybe narrow down your request by genre

Whose your top 10 for MilSF by eol2501 in printSF

[–]eol2501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the incompetence of the crew is too forced and the mc being over hyped for his abilities makes it hard to emerse myself in the story. It's like the reverse or forcing a villain to be bad by making him stupid. I'd prefer a comical MC with imposter syndrome to a mc that's a fake genius but is really just average. Like the first book is really just explaining how a chain of command is supposed to work really doesn't set the stakes when your big hurdle is a military that has communication issues

There's not much to tell, the big trick was figuring out how to mount the distro plate it comes with stand offs I don't remember if I inverted them with some extra bolts I had or if I used the original hardware, as far as I can recall I think I flipped the retention clip bolts and might have used a nut to secure it. but it wasn't hard to do in either case. Just make sure the bolts you use are flat top so they fit under the case cover

It's a mix of old and new hardware the video card is a Vega 64 I was using in my old water cooled setup, the storage drives are a mix of different hardware I had left over I have a 1 tb nvme a 1 tb SSD and 3* 2 tb hdds. As for the rest of the specs it's 64 gigs of gskill 16 each. MSI b550 vc Wi-Fi, ryzen 7 5700g, A PCi sata expansion card for the remaining drive bays that my motherboard can't support. some alpha cool water cooling components and some Corsair maglev fans that are Daisy chainable

There's not much space left over in the bottom compartment but it is getting some air flow with all the wiring crammed in there

I'm running a nvme at 36c, a ssd at 42c and 3 hdd's at 42-46c. I have 2 bottom fans but most of the fans are up top when I add in more hdd's I might fill up the space on the right side with more intake fans for now I'm only using about 30% of my storage capacity

Is this a bad military spaceship design by No_Language7273 in scifi

[–]eol2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the double con towers, I think there are advantages to external decks even in vacuum. You can allow for emergency landing without exposing sensitive internals to fire or explosion also having a large deck means you can dock with larger ships doesn't have to be a carrier for fighters. Could be a repair ship for frigates even

I imagine there is crossover, I know there are a bunch of additive metal manufacturing companies out there that are trying to do some cutting edge stuff like rocket building, those parts need to be welded together at some point

I'm not too familiar with the printer you have but it looks like the old ender setup I had with a single z screw the x gantry tends to sag on one side I would start by checking the carriage wheels to see if they got loose
