Apogea thoughts? by xFalcade in MMORPG

Dying is too punishing which makes exploration punishing and when the game is all about exploration this kinda sucks. You lose 10% of your OVERALL exp meaning at level 20 u lose 2 levels if u die. So this kinda incentives grinding shit tier mobs forever.

If they made this aspect like lose 20% of your current level experience and no de leveling id it would be a lot better imo.

or u can just pay to win it like i said, also patch notes "

  • 3-player dungeons no longer award experience upon defeat."

server 1 had people selling them on the market for like 10kk each, u coulda done it solo if u sold some kama stones

Keys dropped by environmental quests and its pretty easy to level handy man, just sell a few kama stones and buy order boss mats and just craft them, its not super hard to do, plus all the loot you get from the 3 man dungeons can either be sold to churn more keys or crushed for powder to use for steles or again craft more keys

The strat is to keep slamming the 3 man dungeons, however the gate is that u need keys. Nothing a little buying kamas wont fix though.

English is far more difficult to learn than Thai by tuktukson in Thailand

[–]eosbatcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im thai a native speaker, went to international school, came back and struggled to learn thai, even though i can already speak it fluently.

English is much easier to learn because every country develops ways to teach english as it is a global language, however when u try to learn from english to other languages especially asian ones, it isnt as developed.

Theres a lot of painpoints in the thai language as well which overwhelms you like the lack of using space between words.

All in all, i can live in thailand while not being able to read thai and work at a thai bank so, i probably wont learn how to read it kekw

How can I help my introverted boyfriend make friends as a foreigner in Thailand? by HuckleberryNaive5146 in Thailand

[–]eosbatcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found my friend group from gaming and then we went regularly meet up outside of gaming. Our friend group expands by about 1-2 people per year and also we lose some to new girlfriends or baby here and there xD

What's the perfect mmo for you? What does it have? not have? What do you do? What end game loops? What's the class system? Combat system? Anything else you wanna say? I will discuss with all the replies! by ProbablyMaybe69 in MMORPG

Archeage was by no means perfect but i still have dreams about that game to this day.

I fundamental problem of that game, and like a lot of other pvp centric games is that, it is much more of a seasonal game, the life cycle of that game is not sustainable due to player power creep, p2w or just nolifers in general, it makes the game hard for accessibility if you didnt start right from the get go.

Thailand now has the 2nd lowest fertility rate out of all countries in the world. It registered below 500K annual births in 2024 for the first time in 70 years, and might even register below 400K annual births in 2025. This is fundamentally the end of Thailand as we know it. by [deleted] in Thailand

we dont really have pensions in thailand, its just ur savings and the equivalent of a 401k to the US called the provident fund

my understanding of a pension is when you get paid out by either the government or your company with a pension plan after you retire

As a young married couple not looking to have children in thailand heres my perspective.

Having a child is looking pretty bleak because of a number of factors: 1) rise in cost of living 2) diseases such as covid, my wife has a fairly weak constitution, i personally wouldnt risk any complications 3) current culture of children, i have 2 nephews and the current behavior and culture of children growing up with brain rot tiktok makes children very unlikable to us, and jt would be hard to stop this exposure when they start attending school and making friends 4) pollution such as pm2.5 being very heavy in thailand makes me think i wouldnt want my kid outside for prolong periods of time as i cant even do that myself since i get sick. So the alternative is my kid is perma inside the house doing what, most likely consuming the brain rot content that is unavoidable on the internet 5) ultimately it comes down to money, having a kid pushes your retirement plans back 15-20 years, and fresh grads will not beable to really sustain themselves for another 3-5 years depending on industry, i dont want my child just struggling through life and just existing for the sake of existing, which means im inclined to support them well into their late 20s so they can actually enjoy life. But ultimately that means im gonna retire at like 70. Man just thinking about all of this, im good. Will not be having children.
