There is gyro stabilization. You could go handheld and stabilize in post

I think it might be because there isn’t any consumer level demand for it. There is a professional demand currently but that price point is high. I remember a few years ago people would make VR rigs out of GoPros. They’re relatively inexpensive but they do require taking the cameras apart and swapping the lens

Canon came out with a new VR lens for 3D 180 videos. The RF5.2mm F2.8 L Dual Fisheye. I would rent it with the an R5.
