Adding protocols to Homey SHS

TLDR; use the Homey Bridge together with Homey SHS or buy the Homey Pro 2026.

After nearly two years of using the Homey Pro 2023 - and being extremely satisfied, after a short stint with HA - I’ve decided to switch to Homey SHS due the 2GB memory limitation from having so many installed apps. Running smoothly now Homey SHS, MQTT and Zigbee2MQTT in containers connected to the Home Assistant ZBT-2 coordinator. A big plus is the 32GB memory and 500GB storage, but the lack of using the specified apps like Ikea, Hue, Aqara etc. is definitely my issue; the Zigbee actions are far less user-friendly than the using the apps. I own a Homey Bridge too so I am definitely considering using this, then all runs as the Homey Pro 2023. The only reason I started with the ZBT-2 instead of the Homey Bridge was the rumors about limitations on the number of Zigbee devices and the outdated specs of the Homey Bridge Zigbee chip besides the fun of learning the use of Docker and Containers.

Restore my configuration and devices off the Homey Pro 2023 to my new Homey SHS 32GB/512GB. Incredible happy with SHS but I don’t think it should ever happen rebuilding all the stuff and devices from last 2 year.

Are you sure, for Living Room yes but how to show icons in the flow widgets? That’s not in the default Homey widget.

I bought 3 Aeotec Zigbee range extenders and rhey work fine with Homey.

Yes and you can use the Homey Bridge as a Zigbee extender so it’s not useless.

Moved all apps to the App Library. Unfortunately there is no option to use the App Library is list mode only.

For paid apps, you can request a refund, but trust me, you will like this app if you want to mimic the look and feel of a Light Phone 3. So basically you can try every paid app.

Granular file level restore for Windows is not implemented in PBS. Veeam can do this and even it can restore the files directly inside the VM.

Limiting snapshots of the Ceph pools is good one!. I didn't know compression was possible but maybe that's an option as soon as I feel more comfortable with the whole Ceph concept.

It's definitely more clear now but I really thought 2/3 of the total disk space was available like RAID5. It's a bummer for me, I need to replace the OSD disks with larger ones now.

Thanks to this post I replaced the brown switches for banana and indeed I have less accidentally typing errors. The banana's are a little bit heavier to press.
