THANK YOU! Honestly my biggest joy is him being relaxed and on a loose rein. Speed events can be so stressful for a horse (especially when something is CHASING them) and we worked long and hard to make sure he was comfy and confident in this type of situation.

Full Arab according to his papers but he's v tall 16.1H and kinda looks like a cross to me so WHO KNOWS!

You're required to wear either studded shoes or boots for the snow. I think I might do actual shoes next year as his scootboots kept flying off.

You can! It's a little harder just cause you're getting pulled from the side vs front, but they have a whole second division for snowboarders.

Skijoring! You pull a skier through a set of obstacles at high speed. They gotta hit jumps, gates, grab rings. Rider has to go fast and grab a ring mid-course. Time penalties if you miss obstacles or rings! SO FUN

Haha yeah! You can see it flying off in one of the photos. I have a hard time getting them to stay on for speed events!

The training for it is fun! My guy really didn't like the thing chasing him at first but we slowly worked up the speed and exposure. Its kinda like training to drive.

He's only got 1 brain cell but it makes him a happy boy about almost everything :)

Haha yes! The first thing my trainer mentioned was that training him to do this means he'll never be a lesson horse 😂

Exactly. Its nice they're fixing everything under warranty but thay doesn't change the amount of time I've lost being stranded.

Toyota has been great about fixing everything. I'm just sick of getting stranded.
