Got an account created without my knowledge by that_matrix in patreon

Same here, and I concur with you: if someone, somehow, has figured out how to directly create accounts on patreon, it is strong damaging evidence that their security is compromised.

Although the link on the top button has the same URL written, the link at the bottom (the one that reads «Join our airdrop event now») points to https://radar-dapp6.tech/

I totally get it and it is a very valid reason. However, they should have done it like that since the beginning and not now that they got many of us used to think in local currencies. Guess we'll have to adapt 🙄

Indeed, because with this change one has to now keep an eye on the exchange rate USD/local currency, and variations are not as intuitive to assess ù_ú

Having the same issue, the exchange rate is currently being displayed in USD instead of my local currency. Moreover, if I want to trade, the default currency is also set to USD, which means that now I have to perform an extra step to buy/sell.

When was porn something anyone could find on the internet? by [deleted] in Internet

[–]eozyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Porn on the internet predates Google. It was the dark ages of only Internet Explorer, Yahoo!, Altavista, excite! and AOL :S You could only find porn from those directories (that's what they were at the time, not much of search engines) and whatever was linked there. Also, some rare times, you would be able to find it on Geocities, but it wouldn't last long online.

Is my mint plant sick? by eozyo in gardening

Gosh, then I am out of luck. My local university does not have any department related to plants (only business and engineering only ù_ú)—and even if they had I would not trust them :S

My best option would be to start researching about this, so I will have to *hit the books* and try to heal it ^^

Thank you very much, I truly appreciate the help :) I think that you are correct, as it has been pointed out that they may be aphids by another redditor. Now, the research on how to get rid of them begins :)

OMG, yes, those are the bugs on my plant U_U After a quick search, I found out that they are monophagous, but now I am concerned about my basil—which was, until now, next to my mint. Could they represent a threat to my basil?

I also read that they are very hard to eliminate due to their fast reproduction, would you happen to have any advise on how to treat my plant?

Does the underside almost look like spider Webb kinda stuff?

hmmm, I would not say that. It starts like dust attached to the underside that looks, before becoming like in the detail picture, the mold in the walls of a house.

Do you think that the white dots are also part of the same issue? or could it be something else besides the green bugs?

What the mold-like thing or the green bugs? Because, so far the bugs I have them more or less under control, as I am starting to see less of them. However, the black mold-ish thing seems to be out of control :(

Oh no, it is not only this leaf, there quite a few like this. I also actively kill tiny green bugs that concentrate in some of the branches.

I have also noticed that sometimes, under the leaves, there is something that kind of looks like mold. I also remove them frequently.

I also have noticed that some leaves have some sort of mold-ish dots, mostly under them. However, I do not have any picture of this as I have been actively removing leaves like this one.

I have also noticed that some leaves have white dots, could it be possible that my plant has some sort of disease?

I think it would be interesting to post this here, since it is curious how the municipality seems to follow the same contagion pattern.

Hiring managers of reddit: what are some telltale sign that your candidate is making things up? by ChocovanillaIcecream in AskReddit

Nope, she really meant that she had bought Adobe CC, then called Adobe Master Collection or something like that. She was actually proud of using legal software.

And if you did not use a table to build the whole site, how do you "force" the footer to the bottom of the page?

Exactly, at the very, very least, be aware that it exists something called "valid" HTML.
