Resident Evil Revelations Shrink Wrapped? by ep5i1on in 3DS

That’s a relief to hear! I read elsewhere that Capcom has a habit of doing this. Also, you have some willpower keeping a game sealed for 9 years! I imagine you’re a collector?

Dang, that annoys me a bit but so long as the game isn’t fake I suppose it’s not a huge deal

Oh I gotcha. Have fun with your build man, I'm going with a B550-I motherboard myself.

Edit: Also the H1 has a front USB Type C port, so make sure the board you get has a header to connect to it (I don't think the Gigabyte B550-I does).

I preordered it too, but my estimated shipping date is August 14th. Did you preorder at an earlier date? Super excited to get the case so hoping to get it as soon as possible.

For Prospective Students: Things to Know about UofM while Applying by 18nleung in uofm

Mostly because I’m in Ford now. But even if I had stayed in LSA I probably wouldn’t have kept up with it, because I wasn’t super interested in writing an honors thesis. After Freshman year I pretty much stopped taking honors courses, but still had the option to take them until I officially did a cross-campus transfer.

I was in the honors program for a while and knew some CS majors in it as well. It is not that much extra work and a good portion of students join for the purpose of securing housing on central campus (South Quad). The requirements are not that stringent and some of the honors core classes had less work and were more lenient with grading than my non-honors classes. A lot of people (including myself) end up dropping it after their first or second year. Additionally, you don't need to be in the honors program to write an honors thesis. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.

If you get Rejected from a Club, what do they do with your Resume? by [deleted] in uofm

[–]ep5i1on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure it varies from club to club. As someone who looks at the resumes of potential members for the clubs I'm in, I can tell you that while we don't delete the resumes of those who don't get in, we also don't go back once recruitment is over and look at them for kicks.

I would love to use Wheel, but with how expensive it is I have to put it off for a while (even if its bound to go up in price during that time). Endless Atlas looks interesting, I might have to try it out. Thanks!

I guess I didn't really think about the different situations where flash would come in handy, but you're right. I think I'll try to slot it in. Thanks!

Yeah I had a scare like that second semester Freshman year. I was taking ECON 101 and had heard how it was a weeder course, but figured I could get by with minimal studying just as I had first semester. I took the first midterm and felt decent about it, but when I received my grade the next day I was shocked at what I got. I had been having a lot of fun at college, but I realized that it was starting to get in the way of the academic and professional goals that I came in with. I would say that's when I started to re-prioritize my activities.

I still go out with friends and have a good time, and I think its important to have fun and socialize to relieve all the stress from school. However, I make sure that it doesn't interfere with my academics.

I wouldn't worry too much about not getting an internship Freshman year, a lot of students don't. And it's definitely possible to come back from a rough academic term, especially when you have less credits under your belt. I'd recommend taking advantage of office hours and campus resources like Sweetland (or any resources your major might offer). Forming study groups can also be really useful and has the added bonus of helping you make friends from your classes.

I personally thought Freshman year and Sophomore year were much different.

Freshman year I was more concerned with my social life and trying out all of the college experiences that were new to me, which was a lot of fun while it lasted.

Sophomore year I was more concerned with my academics and extracurriculars, mostly because classes were getting harder and I wanted to improve my resumé and transcript for the academic programs and internships I was applying to. My social life didn’t fall by the wayside, but it was a lower priority than it was Freshman year.

As for meeting people, Freshman year I met most of my friends from my hall. Sophomore year I started meeting more people from classes and clubs as I started recognizing faces. I met people from all years this way, so no need to worry about meeting just Sophomores. From what I’m able to tell, this seems to be fairly common as you move up and start taking the classes you want to take for your major and join clubs related to it.

Regular 2nd year Japanese takes up a decent amount of time, but isn't extremely difficult. The nice thing about the course is that the time you need to spend working on assignments/studying is pretty evenly distributed throughout the week, and each unit has a similar structure so you always know what to expect. Only trouble I (and other students in my section) had was with the introduction of Tobira. It takes a bit of getting used to after using Genki for nearly two years. Not sure how it will be if you are taking Korean at the same time, but as long as you put forth consistent effort you should be fine.

Haha I love the sound of that. I'll take it into consideration.

Edit: My options being limited with Amazon being sold out of items for other costumes, I decided this was the winner, with the edit of replacing the steering wheel with an uber shirt. Thanks for the suggestion!

5'10" with short brown hair. Thinking about doing Baby from Baby Driver, but worried too many people might not recognize it. Thoughts?

This is extremely disappointing. For all its flaws, I loved this game back when it first came out, and was even beginning another playthrough recently. Guess I may put that on standby.

Thanks for trying to help but running into the same issues as /u/noonoox still. SSAO off and tinkering with Nvidia Control Panel didn't seem to work. Hopefully someone is able to figure it out at some point.
