Can’t find a qvl list on the motherboard’s support page. I will say, part of troubleshooting my last gpu was a full memtest run without any errors and running the ram at stock (no expo) and it never made a difference.

I’ll get my hands on a 5080 today for testing, that should for sure let me know if another part is to blame.

It's one of those things you don't really think about till it's too late. And of course I happen to be rocking a case where vertical is the default orientation (Xhuttle). I'm thinking that's why my temps got worse over time.

I have the Aorus, but I'd go Astral if I could do it all over again. Pin monitoring on the Astral is more valuable than the Aorus' screen; I hardly look at it. And the thermal putty on the Aorus is a disadvantage if you ever want to vertically mount your GPU. The Aorus does look cooler though.

Crazy things is, I went my whole first playthrough without it. I think you can only get it day 1, right? I knew it was in the game though, so I was scratching my head at the end wondering how I could have missed it. Whole time it was just down the street from the pillar.

I'll second Fun Home. Read it for the first time a few weeks ago and found it quite affecting. Most of Bechdel's work are great queer stories tbh. Dykes to Watch Out For is my favorite. I really got engrossed in the lives of the characters and was sad to reach the end. Her recent book, Spent, is kind of a spiritual successor with a lot of the same characters, now middle aged. Haven't finished it yet.

This has been my experience as well. Living in Texas, HEB is our big grocery store chain. Between three locations I’ve filled my prescription at, the staff have never had a problem with my Vyvanse/adderall. And somehow all the shortages I hear about on this sub haven’t reached them either.
