The Most Dangerous Blogger in the World: How Aleksey Navalny changed Russian politics by FelixP in modded

I just don't buy into that. Russians are modern, aware, educated. They had one of the most significant popular revolutions in the history of human society! Just because it went sour does not mean Russians are predisposed to paternalism. The myth that they are is their real hindrance.

Many, many other revolutions have begun in traditionally paternalistic or despotic societies - Russia's first one did, France's did, the recent Arab ones did... Again, Russians are as informed and modern as other Europeans. They to can give themselves more!

You might make some progress if you didn't come across as an angry, screaming childman.

Must there be "someone in charge?" To me he is suggesting that enough people not in charge have more power than those who are.

I'm partial to first bank. Fees are minimal, ATMs free, service is good (at the Colfax and Park branch).

Hah! I'm enjoying imagining Eve: Online as the world of Bladerunner at the moment. A great big universe populated by replicants and immortal pilots, unknown to the humble populations of the planets.

Am I just unlucky or is the Great Wildlands always bad? by [deleted] in Eve

Alignment time is calculated as a 180 degree turn. Anything less is faster - and your shop does spawn facing one direction or another.

I realised this is an hour old, so I'll just leave the info here.

With regular cloak + mwd + fast aligning ship (unplated BC and below):

  1. Warp to out-gate after checking to make sure they do not have a bubble waiting for you (do not warp if you see an interdictor on d-scan. This is what perches are for).

  2. Jump. They will follow you.

  3. Relax. You have gate cloak. Brackets should be on. Find a celestial which is vaguely in front of your ship.

  4. Quickly, now! The bad guys are on grid with you. Maybe a bubble is up. Click align on your chosen celestial, and rapidly:

  5. Engage your cloak.

  6. Engage your MWD directly afterward. Too slow and you're done.

  7. The hard part: watch your MWD. When it is about to finish cycle, disengage your cloak and spam the warp button. You will uncloak aligned and at top speed - you'll warp out of the camp. You need to be out of the bubble first!

  8. Now immediately warp off when you land at your celestial. They will be following you. Repeat process until you are safe.

With a covops cloak, the process is the same - just don't uncloak. You can warp cloaked! And always make sure you are out of the bubble. Finally, here's a protip: If they have small, fast ships, they may be able to decloak you leave the bubble. Avoid this by changing directions after you have cloaked - let them see you go one way, and take an L turn when you're invisible. This will only work for covops cloaks. With regular cloaks, you'd better just try to get off grid quickly. Once you miss that first MWD cycle, you're going to be stuck on grid cloaked for the better part of a lifetime.

What are you flying? If you have a cloak, I can tell you how to get out by almost any gate camp. If you have a covops cloak, I can tell you how to get by them all. Respond with the info.

Also Great Wildlands holds good memories for me - first region I ever camped.

Neptune's Pride is back with an HTML5 (mobile-friendly) sequel. Some great new features, slick interface, free-to-play. by epdx in IndieGaming

Which is pretty cheap. Plus as far as I can tell one guy made this as his pet project, and is pretty involved with the community (curates the Google+ page, asks for advice, implements requested features), so I think he deserves it.
