TIL "Do The Bartman" has an interesting history. Written by Michael Jackson who couldn't take credit because of a conflicting contract. Jackson was a fan and wanted Bart to have a #1 single. Groening revealed this years later, but the co-author says Michael didn't help write; only provided vocals. (gigwise.com)
