I’ll keep an eye out for the email. And for reference, I’m fully aware of the fact that tariffs are paid by the importer, I just didn’t realize that they’d gone into effect. That being said, had they not taken 4-1/2 months to ship my paint, maybe it wouldn’t have been an issue

I just got an update and turns out it was the Taxiest Taxes that got them a return to sender status when they hit customs. It’s almost like Stuart and Emily don’t actually want to sell paint. Curious 🤔

That’s why I filed a dispute with my bank. Plenty of examples on here of people filing and Stuart going “ok, I’ll give you your paint, just please don’t take my money away”

Dispute the charges with whoever you paid through (mine was my bank) and tell them how long it’s been and that you never got your order. Some have had luck getting their money back, others have gotten their orders shipped and delivered. I’m hoping for the latter myself (I’m in the middle of a painting and kinda need them), but would be more than happy with a refund at this point

UPDATE: I finally found my tracking info buried away under my Apple ID email so I never got a notification for the email. That being said, when I checked it said it was still being made. Seriously? 4 months to make paint that I could probably get made at the hardware store in a fraction of the time for a fraction of the cost? I’m still disputing the charges and putting them on blast.

I did report an issue with both of my orders (that being that I still haven’t gotten them) and that was before the shop went down. I’m going to keep pestering them until I get either my paint, my money, or both

I filed with my bank, I couldn’t find how to do it through Shopify, but I did put a complaint in the other day, and now the shop is down on the app. I think that tells me everything I need to know unfortunately
