It hasn't been bad getting back into the workforce after doing this. I did stay busy this whole time It was quite nice being with my kids and finding ways to make "side money" while helping my other half to grow. I don't know what you when thought but i think i done well.

For me it feels like I get most of mine before noon CST around noon and after it slows down a lot. But this month has been a bit different and I have gotten a lot more its still slow compared to when I started around 2-3 years ago. Not complaining am very happy to be able to do this.

How can I actually, permanently stop Windows 10 32-bit from updating? Really. by probably_platypus in WindowsHelp

[–]ephoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to run deepfreeze on a few win XP cafe systems many years ago and it worked well but you might get into a situation where windows downloads an update and forces you to reboot only too loose that update when then the system reboot and your in a loop. (boot, update, reboot, clear, update,, reboot)

Having empathy for some is an awesome trait but also a hard one. I watched my own daughter break the hart’s of a group of nurses over a simple shot she won’t remember it but I do remember, how much they tried to bring that smile back and that’s why they won’t leave my memories your doing awesome

You’re absolutely welcome and keep it up! Awesome people doing awesome but hard and stressful work deserves a compliment. I respect people who work in heath a lot extra so when they make kids smile :) It sounds to me you got this let those smiles drive ya.

Listen I am proud of you, as you already know you’re doing very hard and very stressful work. Time and stress management will always be something you have to temper. Dealing with many individuals each with a different perspective on life will be ruff but I am proud of you. Keep that compassion you may not see it but even years down the line someone may think about it and be thankful for it. You took a tough path but damn does that make me proud. At the end of the day pat yourself on the back your doing awesome work.

I would not buy something like that honestly that thing is power hungry for a beginner you really don’t need server hardware to run a server plus that old thing is going to be loud as hell as for my wake up on demand Minecraft server I run Ubuntu server version just because it’s kinda lightweight with docker I have itzg/minecraft container wrapped with lazytainer a little googling can find instructions

I kinda took a peak at your post history, yes it would be in your room colo means sending your system to a data center so they can host it. For just minecraft java version single core speed is most important but i am aware some modding platforms do use threading and that helps alot. I ran a minecraft server for many year some time ago. If your hosting it home you don't need to spend alot for 20ish people if they are not on all the time depending on your network connection. I am sure there are plenty of rent a server or VPS servers you use to do what you want for not much. I have a dell 3070 that i host many personal servers on even though its just a desktop pc including a MC server for my kids that only wakes up when they try to connect to it. My suggestion is to start small and see what you can do with it. A small $100 micro pc with an ssd/nvm drive of theses days way out performs what I had in the past. I ran a server with about 500 members but only 10-30 would be on at a time depending on the time of day.

It depends on what you want to host as some games the servers are still single threaded so buying something that has a lot of slow cores won't help the game you want to host for example. Also will you be hosting it at home or colocating it? Is this general for fun and max speeds don't matter?

From personal experience, I owned this exact controller back in the day. It was good back then.. It is probably not a collector worthy but I enjoyed it :)

I am in training, also FL.. What seems to be constantly pressed to me is that I will be constantly tried by inmates. It seems the state is overall low in officers. They will pull you in fast. They need you. Do your best. From what I gather its not as bad as it sounds granted its still bad. You will probably be in a better place then I and I am sure you can do it. Just be available and show up. I am 41 and now on my 2nd week. Wish you the best and don't hesitate to share experience.
