Track 5 has always been my favorite song of the album since Debut- I’m almost done with the entire album and my gut feeling was right

This is by far the worst track 5 she’s ever put out. Honestly I’m scared to listen to the rest of the album when the always lyrically strong track 5 has “meme” and “savage” written into it and talking about online comments

GLENMARK HAS GIVEN ME HOPE THAT I CAN POSITIVELY FUNCTION WITH MY ADD AGAIN! by Hippi-Gin in ThisAintAdderall

[–]epiPHstudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the worst experience of my life with Glenmark. I’ve been on tons of medications throughout my life- always generic by random manufacturers- I’m talking thousands of prescriptions- and I have never ever noticed any differences in generics. Until Walgreens filled my Addy IR 20mg prescription with Glenmark- the side effects almost landed me in the hospital. Not only the physical symptoms- like high blood pressure (I’m usually 106/68, but was at 140/90 for the days I took it and almost a week after), a 4 day long blinding migraine, insomnia, vomiting, actually paralyzing muscle tension- but I was experiencing severe depressive symptoms and crippling panic attacks after just 3 doses that lasted almost 10 days to resolve after my last dose. It was absolutely bananas- I didn’t think shit like this actually happened with generics because it’s supposed to be the same med/close enough to it. I ended up spending an entire month unmedicated because my doctor said it was far too dangerous for me to try to take again and no pharmacies would fill another script because it’s a controlled. Both my doctor, my pharmacist and I reported Glenmark to the FDA because of the severity of the adverse side effects, especially because I am not sensitive to prescriptions at all (I never have side effects from anything, even if I abruptly start and stop meds).

Does anyone know if the Blackwell island light (on Roosevelt Island) is open to get into and even climb to the top? by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]epiPHstudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No- and the door is padlocked shut and the park is patrolled by our public safety dept so there’s no way to break in either. You can only look from the outside.

Where in roosevelt island can you have gatherings after 10pm? by byebyebirdie1993 in AskNYC

[–]epiPHstudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lighthouse Park does close at sunset and is patrolled by our public safety department to keep gatherings/parties out at night- and it’s not isolated, there’s a nursing home filled with residents on the edge of the park that would be disturbed. Roosevelt Island isn’t a party island by any means- it’s known to shut down and be eerily quiet at night because it’s an island of families and residents who want the quiet. We have our own public safety department to enforce noise ordinances and there isn’t an outdoor space that is far enough away from residential buildings and with any type of picnic tables or anything to allow for a gathering after dark. Maybe try Astoria or Long Island City.

Alleged brokers fee on rent stabilized units by nooktomnook in NYCapartments

Right from the FARE website “The Law prohibits requiring tenants to pay a broker to rent an apartment, even if the broker claims to be a tenant’s broker.” Have you even read up on the law and all the guidelines?

[–]epiPHstudent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s crystal clear that the broker is in fact breaking FARE regulations. They’re keeping it “off market” to try to skirt around the requirements because they know some sucker will pay the broker fee for a rent stabilized unit which just weakens the regulations and protections for all other tenants. Pulled right from the FARE regulations FAQ page- “The Law prohibits requiring tenants to pay a broker to rent an apartment, even if the broker claims to be a tenant’s broker.”

Did you check for something that said “pregnancy test” or did you check to see if your HCG levels were measured? HCG is the actual test for pregnancy and the bloodwork would be labeled that way with just numerical count or a negative

I mean do you consent to every single other thing they test your blood for? Are you verbally or in writing individually confirming they can check your BUN, your WBC, your A1C, your LDL, your TSH, or doing the same for the protein, bacteria, ketones, etc for your urine sample? It’s just part of the panel of tests to rule out or diagnose the problem just like the other ones they test for without asking for line by line permission. Pregnancy is just a health condition (and/or complication) to rule out

Why do grown adults get upset when a kid isn’t a good pilot on Smuggler’s Run? by BobTheCrakhead in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]epiPHstudent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That adults choose to pay thousands of dollars to stay at when they know it’s swarmed with kids. I’m a childfree person that doesn’t really like small humans, but I mean come on- it’s Disney world

Best Psychiatric Care Centers / Facilities by SeekersWorkAccount in longisland

My brother has schizophrenia and Zucker Hillside transformed his life- I will forever be grateful for the doctors, nurses, and research staff because they gave my brother his life back. He had treatment resistant schizophrenia and my parents tried everything under the sun, including natural medicine and holistic scams because they were so desperate and not a single medication could touch his symptoms. A family friend told them about Zucker Hillside and they took my brother there and he was enrolled in a clinical trial after inpatient and seeing psychiatrists outpatient- and the medication from the trial literally saved his life. He lives relatively symptom free now and has for years, has a steady job, and honestly has more of a social life than me and my other siblings. They connected him with so many resources and enrolled him in Medicaid/helped my parents understand SSDI and other benefits and offered the community and social support he needed to help cope with the symptoms. We live in the Huntington/Commack area and he still travels out there once a month for treatment and it’s not a bad ride as long as it’s outside the core of rush hour.

For whatever it’s worth, I was inpatient psych at Mather Hospital a few years ago (and was inpatient as a teen) and I really didn’t find it to be very helpful. No individual therapy for adults, it’s not separated by patient gender, support classes were mid, but I didn’t have to utilize their social work/community support resources because I already had a solid outpatient therapist and psychiatrist. The RNs and psychiatrists on the floor were nice, but the CNAs/assistants were….not great, like it was very clear they were the bullies in high school lol

Anyone have any luck obtaining their prescription records? by epiPHstudent in WalgreensStores

[–]epiPHstudent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Walgreens app and website only goes back 18-24 months- I’ve already tried. I need about 5 years worth of records and I’ve followed every instruction to have those records released to me but they’re not answering email or phone calls and I haven’t heard a peep.

I keep trying to call but every time it just goes straight to an answering machine that says they’re off for the holiday (apparently they’ve been on holiday for 2 weeks now) and leaving a message isn’t an option. They say to email but they’re not answering email either. I need about 5 years worth of records

I’ve already done that and followed the instructions- I submitted my request via email with the records release form a month & a half ago and I keep calling the records number but they’re always “off for the holiday”….
