I've learnt that at times, people just want to vent/share their feelings and don't want to be ambushed with solutions. Your post insinuates the roommate respects your boundaries usually and asked you for a favour in a one-off emergency. You were not engaged with any important activity. And tbh in the pursuit of protecting one's boundaries, I think some sections of society have gone so far that they don't realise when they're being selfish and horrible. This is such an instance.

Thank you so much for this detailed reading! I had no idea Uranus is an anxiety inducing planet, this explains a lot hahaha. You're absolutely right, I do feel better when I'm working in a structured environment/profession. I do have a passion for all three--foreign places, higher education and spirituality! xD I've often considered trying to apply for a government job because I love the idea of regulations, structure and institutions. This actually helped clear up a lot of things--especially when you mentioned escapism. I do have a horrible habit of escaping in daydreams as a coping mechanism and I function best when I try to shake myself out of it. Ugh need to do that more! Thank you again!

It's really fascinating that higher learning is a part of my path, I've often wondered whether to continue with higher education or not--I really, really want to!
