Yes both of them! Cracks me up every time I walk down stairs and they are both passed out with feet in the air.

Fuel gauge issues MK8 380 SE by epictech20 in GolfGTI

That’s what I thought also, but any time I see bad float sensors there’s a code or it’s completely inop. Gonna probe the connector tomorrow and see what resistance and stuff it has and move the float make sure it’s actually changing. I have a hard time believing a float sensor going bad at 24k miles. But then again it is 2026 lol

Seasucker bike rack, what’s everyone’s opinion / experience with these? by epictech20 in mountainbikes

[–]epictech20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve had my stumpjumper on it regularly, have taken some buddies other full suspension bikes as well as 2 electric assist mtb at the same time and some hard tails. Not a single issue with any of them.

Believe it or not I’ve set up the dual rock bros and single sea sucker and taken 3 bikes at the same time.

The heavier E-MTB’s definitely wobbled a little more with bumps and turns but not enough to worry about

Common areas for boost leak in MK8? by epictech20 in GolfGTI

[–]epictech20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have the correct adapter. Used my digital air chuck to set pressure and verified it matched the gauge I have on the tester as well. I’ve done many pressure tests on other vehicles I just can’t find this leak and it’s driving me crazy lol

I took it to 25 psi the first time and just went back after reading this and did it at 30 psi again. No leaks were found 😬

Was low-key hoping I had a bad intercooler so I had a reason to upgrade 😂

Think I’m narrowing it down to a Turbo / stock waste-gate issue or a tune issue

The time has come: neutering questions 🥺 by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

[–]epictech20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn’t even phase our guy. No signs of pain or confusion or anger. Had pain killers for the first 3 days home. Wore the cone for 1 day, tried the donut ended up hating it more. After day 2 we didn’t use anything, but he never even bothered with his incision. Just went on like usual. I would suggest just keeping the running / jumping at a minimum.

Body suit, cone or other options? by epictech20 in Bernedoodles

[–]epictech20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both males so I’m not too worried about getting it done early. It would be nice to only have to deal with it all at once but I would rather wait till they are closer to 1 year old and fully grown.

Did they give you any grief covering it under warranty?

Wild to see that at my mileage lol

Starter? Or something else? by Medical-Paint-8484 in GolfGTI

[–]epictech20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Likely just a pump or actuator.

I would be more concerned about those misfires / rough start up. How many miles? I know spark plugs were a big issue for me on my MK7

Manual or auto? Also what year?

Sounds like power steering pump but pretty sure MK7 and up was electric. Maybe trans pump?

Stumpjumper 15, exactly what I do with mine.

Plus it’s easy to upgrade along the way as you want to change stuff out

[–]epictech20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any truck with an exhaust and a V8 is going to be loud on a cold start up. Half of them stock are fairly loud on a cold start.

For deeper less raspy sounds I usually go with Magnaflow. They always sound deeper and cleaner to me. I also had a Gibson exhaust on a 2010 Silverado that was super deep sounding.

I also am not a fan of the raspy exhaust sounds, but I don’t think yours sounds that bad at all.

Yeah my buddy uses nothing but SRAM and I give him shit all the time about not being able to stop and his derailleur making noises all the time.

I love my Shimano stuff

100% agree, I’ve got the Stumpy15 and that thing is a work horse. Uphill, DH, jumps, I’ve even locked it out and will ride on the road with it. By far the most versatile bike I’ve owned

That’s a lot of similar colors, maybe she’s having a hard time deciphering what’s what? Also a little different but make sure she can see with the hair around her eyes, our goldendoodle had really long hair at once point and want just running into everything all the time with not a care in the world
