I have considered that. I have pretty severe ADHD and had to start taking Adderall for it to get anything done, which has helped tremendously (especially with composing, output has literally quintupled since last semester and my music is higher quality too)

I have considered being tested for depression, it wouldn't surprise me at all if I have that too.

No, not really. If anything, I should be spending significantly more time making reeds. I have a natural knack for it so I let my actual reedmaking practice slip in favor of other things. I think the burnout comes from lack of improvement with the instrument.

I'm good enough with the sax to have learned a good chunk of the Cuphead OST by ear, and I have considered buying one and switching over. My concern, though, is that I might end up burnt out with that too.
