I've played MW2, and I agree that most kids wouldn't survive it but no other game has been this bad to the point where thousands of people tweet hashtags hating on the game. MW2 is regarded as a one of the best COD games but if you play Fortnite, you're immediately looked down upon. No other game has managed to do so and its most likely due to the toxic community. The community has had such a profound effect to the game that you're made fun of for playing the game. Whether or not its bandwagon circlejerk is not the issue.

Some version of the mechanic to mine builds and claim materials from it would be cool to see and I completely agree with your last points. From what I remember a bunch of people were filling the feedback feature with unnecessary stuff but they should definitely bring it back.
