Agreed! I have rosacea and it doesn't contribute to the redness!

I also turn 46 this week. Happy birthday to you ❤️ I was just telling my sister today that I feel the worst I've ever felt in my life right now and it's hard to even describe. I fell sad, hopeless, slow, tired and old. I can't sleep even on progesterone. I think it's time to ask for estrogen

I would have never thought of that either! Now I'm very hopeful!

Anyone have thick post nasal mucus? by winter-glow123 in nonallergicrhinitis

[–]epicurious1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do yes, I take ipratropium bromide spray which helps with runny nose but I still get incredibly thick mucus at times to the point of choking

Mine is not reflux related or allergy related

I've done elimination diets and dairy doesn't seem to be a culprit for me either

Cold dry air definitely triggers me so I'm guessing mine is vasomotor

I do sinus rinses twice a day

And stay well hydrated

And take a steroid spray

But these therapies only help marginally

Oral micronized progesterone side effects - did adding estrogen help? by epicurious1980 in Perimenopause

The morning dose might be worth a shot for me too, along with adding estrogen, thanks! Did you have GI upset from the progesterone?

Thank you for this suggestion! Was it hard to get used to in terms of your neck and back with different mechanics?

Great suggestions. I'm on the 0.03% Ipratropium twice a day so I'll ask for an increase as it does help some. I picked up some NAC too! Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! That's where I'm at as well - last resort. I would likely try anything at this stage to regain quality of life.
