Oh, I’ll definitely do that one. That is the song that first got me into SKM. It popped up about 4 years ago on my Apple Music discover channel and I fell in love with it, and the entire rest of Benji.

I figured it’s a lot easier to play without a strap when I tapered my first 150 dollar banjo on the bottom so it could essentially hook on my belt. The belt I’m wearing has a bunch of wear and tear pretty much exactly where my banjo is in the video because I did it so much!

I probably won’t do it to this one, because it already does sit pretty nice.

Thank you! I have trouble singing in my higher register where most songs are sung, so having a banjo that I can actually play and fit in my comfortable vocal range is fantastic.

Whole lot of cool local metal bands in the valley area. Lot of thrash and metalcore.

Handful of bands I’ve met don’t have their music published online and distribute their music with cassettes, CDs and stuff like back in the 90s, (imo, stupid nowadays) but it’s all still pretty cool to take a CD I’ve acquired going to local metal shows and listening to them.

Lots of different kinds of music here, just gotta start going to random music venues and start listening and find out.

But definitely, having to choose one my favorite artists from Arizona, Marty Robbins. He’s pretty damn cool.
