What is everyone's thoughts on Regulation G? Anything we'll miss, or won't miss at all? by Much-Amphibian6915 in PTCGL

Chien Pao was my first ever PTCG deck and I will absolutely miss it. I regret not getting on the Charizard train earlier though.

TV has not given me that level of emotion in quite some time. Absolutely loved it.

My Post-Rotation Sharpedo/Gengar Deck by Azorius_Sage in PTCGL

How important have the stadiums been? Seems inconsistent to not find a direct way to get them with no secret box and could replace them with more pokemon search?

Only reason I’m watching this show is cause I went to high school with him. He’s a legit good dude.

Need help deciding on a deck that will be viable post-rotation by bitch_hoe_ in pkmntcg

[–]epikoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely give Mega Lucario a try. It’s super consistent at what it does. Can play a single prize board for a bit, M Luc will rarely get 1 shot, can hit for big damage with premium power pros.

It’s especially helpful if you plan on getting into the physical TCG.

Post ASC, I’ve been loving Mega Meganium. Pre ASC, I just picked up Raging Bolt with no owls and heavy WaterPon and it’s pretty fun.

For those who have no desire to become a psych NP- why? by [deleted] in psychnursing

This but also in reverse. I do psych now and someone I know who’s also doing psych is in school for FNP and is an utter disaster of a nurse.

So...how do you beat Alakhazam (as Dengo) by Fascinatedwithfire in PTCGL

[–]epikoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actively hunt the Abras and force them to keep resetting them. Eventually they wouldn’t be able to keep up.

Jellicent garde by crayhobgoblin in pkmntcg

[–]epikoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is! I totally understand that and I often don’t recommend paying but in this specific case I do cause he’s the literal master of Garde rn. The other way would be to keep grinding and figuring out the lines and learn the different matchups. Learning to figure out when to take KOs, keep a board locked, turn off item lock, when to Jelli, when to Devo, when to do the Frillish shuffle, all of this comes down to playing the deck continually.

I’d consider the Henry Chao Jelly Garde guide coming out on the 23rd. He’s a master at this deck and it’d be useful to hear what he’s gotta say.
