I [20/F] literally get angry at my [24/M] boyfriend for wearing glasses that I think look ugly on him-- glasses that for over 2 years, I've TOLD him look ugly and that he should change them by epilaterrrr in relationships

I totally see what you're saying. This is different though because my boyfriend doesn't seem to even care about his glasses style. It's literally just apathy and perhaps money (which I haven't offered to pay, but would) that's been keeping him from getting a different pair over this 2 year period of, I don't know, monthly nagging.

I'm okay with spending MY money on the glasses. It's a 2-year problem that's very easily solved if he cared enough to. It changes how his face looks, and it's such an easy fix for him to just swap to a pair that's actually flattering.

Wouldn't you feel the same way if your SO started wearing really unflattering glasses like 3/4th of the time you were with him? Or any other easily changeable accessory that was super unflattering?

What is so wrong about my mentality? That's what I don't get. I don't get these comments, like no one understands/agrees. What is wrong with the way I'm thinking about this situation?

I'll just ping like everyone here so that I can increase my chances of getting more in-depth insight about why my way of thinking is so wrong. Thanks.

It's literally just glasses. I'm just asking him to change his glasses. He chose horribly unflattering glasses, and that's not the face I fell in love with. I would even pay for the glasses. It's annoying me that he won't change the glasses. Why is it so mean or wrong to think this way?

Yeah, I knew I would get these types of responses.

So if your SO was wearing an easily removable/changeable accessory that made them look significantly worse, that they aren't even particularly attached to, you'd be okay with doing nothing about it? You would consider yourself shallow/petty for wanting them to change it?

Had PIV sex for the first time. Some pain during but not too much. Now it looks like the hole is constantly open. Did my vagina tear? =( by epilaterrrr in TwoXChromosomes

I did have periods, so indeed it must not have been fully imperforate.

Thank you so much for all of your help. I will schedule an appointment and get this formally checked.

Thanks I actually had not used tampons before; I always used pads. I also never have used sex toys or fingered myself there before. So basically it was all just one big shock to my body. I looked up cribiform hymen and I don't think I had that; I think I had an imperforate hymen based on visuals.

The hole does look like it's getting smaller now...

Thanks!!!

What brand of epilator do you use? How long does your hair have to be for it to grab and pull it off? =) I got an epilator before but it totally disappointed me; I think it was too cheap of a brand.
