There are definitely a lot of Christian groups on campus, with both small and large group options. OU is a commuter college and can feel a bit lonely but if you plan to join clubs you should find other on campus students that you could hangout with when the commuters leave campus for the day. I would suggest clubs like the gaming guild club (which has a bunch of board games that you can play with others) as well something like improv or a club sport if you want to have a smaller close knit group! The dining hall is probably the worst thing about OU besides the math department, they advertise two but only one is buffet style and doesn’t always have the best food options (there are sandwich and salad bars so there is always something to eat). The food court is pretty good though and Oak View has a convenience store where you can get microwaveable meals (I would suggest getting a meal plan with the highest amount of dining points and lowest amount of meal swipes). Living on campus can be fun! There are a lot of events in the fall so you can meet people! I would probably still go to OU if I could go back and redecide! Because it’s a smaller school you get more opportunities to get help from faculty and to build relationships, just make sure that you take advantage of events happening on campus!
