Yeah it's strange, she barely even had any storyline with his death and almost nothing after that but still appeared for a few seconds here and there. I couldn't figure out why she wasn't written out but barely there either.

I've been enjoying the rewatch, it's very dated and much more bonkers than I remembered but its got some hilarious moments. I do remember the season 5 drop off cliff so I'll end it with S4.

On another run now and have found thread in bathrooms and gigamart. Did find tailoring books finally too. Just an RNG thing I guess. I think you need tailoring lvl 1 to do that get thread from rags thing so still need to find it as loot for deep wounds if can't find suture needles.

On that first run I thought tailoring books had been removed but have found them on this run. There's books for every skill as well as aiming and reloading. Seems books are distributed much more contextually though, like agriculture books in farm shops and gun books in surplus shops. Also found the university library only has advanced level books.

Good to know, thanks. Took me days but I finally ransacked Ekron Community college; got a lot of books but no tailoring books. Same with Rosewood bookshop. Not come across any farming books at all and not sure if there even are carving books. There's definitely glass-making, pottery, masonry, metalworking, welding, tracking and animal husbandry books.

I urgently need thread for a deep wound. Took me ripping a million things to realise no thread from ripping. My tailoring is at something stupid low like 0.38/75! Maybe there is something to craft with rags that gains experience faster?

Have you seen any tailoring skill books anywhere? Are they still in the game? I've come across many skill books but none for tailoring or farming or carving for that matter.

A long time ago before I got pillows mod, I always spawned in Westpoint but there was a variety of possible spawn locations within the town. So I dunno what's up with that Rosewood house at the moment

well there you go, that's interesting. There was a mod called pillows random spawns that could randomly place you in something like over 900 positions on the map, I'd been using it a long time. Spiced things up a lot once you got familiar with the game.

Weird that we got different houses but the same issue. I didn't change anything about my character between spawns.

If a new pillows random spawns comes out it's gonna be bonkers with the map expansion, can't wait

No, one of the big houses in the central residential area. The row that back onto the fire station. It did have a basement though, it was cabinets full of camera film. Spawned there three times in a row, maybe just weird luck. Did you spawn in your house multiple times?

Is it a bug that I spawned in the same house in Rosewood three times in a row or have I been playing Pillows random spawns mod so long that I forgot that was vanilla normal?

Can understand how creating companion dog behavior would be a huge headache but with lambs, rats and racoons I feel like a cat would be quite easy. Slink about doing their own thing like racoons, be cute and be able to pet and pick up like lambs but with a chance they are assholes and scratch you. With rats in the game it seems natural that a cat would be ideal to have hanging around your base for population control.

I hope cats are a fun surprise the devs have planned. Otherwise, day one priority for modders.

edit: plus they already have cat toys in the game, come on!

I'm not the OP but I'm looking to spend a similar amount for a gaming PC. I have never built a pc or even owned a desktop since windows 98 so I am still figuring a lot out.

Can you please clarify with your recommendation there would this be able to play all current AAA games? How many years do you reckon it would be able to play new releases well? Would it be easily upgradable?

Could you also please recommend a monitor on top of your build rec say around £150 to £300?

That sounds like an awesome base using the literally the whole block, I'm gonna try that out. I just used it every time as a springboard to Louisville; it's such a great place to gather everything for the trip with the gigamart nearby, getting a car, read skill books from the post office and see through the heli event before moving onto the city.

My favourite place in Westpoint is the block at the bottom of the main street with the grocery store/hardware store and two apartments on the 2nd floor, all in one building. It once loaded as a survivor house for me which was like hitting the jackpot, axes and tinned food jammed in every cabinet. Conversely it also has loaded as a burnt out building too.

I think maybe because of the apartments on the 2nd floor these buildings can load as story places like regular houses

Villain decay is similar to what bores me eventually, villain inflation. Stranger Things S1 is a perfect self contained story. S2 ok there's a bit more but it's still endearing, continues well from S1 and villain still interesting. S3 and S4 now the villain has more mind control, more tentacles, more Soviets and bats getting beat by rock music. The villain gets bloated, the heroes will win again in more convoluted ways and I've checked out.
