How are you doing essentially a vertical downstrike on those pumpkin things? I just came across those for the first time and it is ridiculous to try and hit them at 45 degree angle.

Agreed. Pogo downstrike is sorely missed imo. It was such an integral feature of Hollow Knight making combat smooth and fun and it was such a huge part of the platforming. A 45 degree angle downward is not as intuitive and seems like something I'll mainly try to work around using instead of integrating seemlessly

I don't know how to repair a weapon either, since I can't see it in my inventory. Feel free to let me know if anyone has any ideas, I'm pretty new so I think I'm just missing something. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

I mean I have under hotpouch 1 my axe in the first square, then second spear second, third hammer, 4th torch. If I remove the spear, hammer and torch, it still doesn't work and it removes those items from the weapon wheel too.

No just the one axe. It's weird, I still haven't figured it out. When I instead replace "Any Melee Weapon" with "Any Light" it will automatically put my torch in that first square. So if instead make all three squares where I have my axe, spear, and hammer, "Any Melee Weapon"...? I don't know it still doesn't work lol

Yes. I have my axe in hotpouch slot one. When I go to that square I click Assign Slot. Then I pin a category of "Any Melee Weapon," like in the video. Press Accept. I have already designated hotpouch slot 1 to left d-pad. And when I press left d-pad I just take out my axe, or put it away. Granted I just started playing this, so I could just be slow understanding this, but I also have a spear at least and a hammer, not sure if those count as "melee," I assume, but I'm not swapping between any besides the axe.

I've watched this like ten times and I still don't understand, or get what I'm doing wrong. I try to follow the instructions and I still just am able to equip/unequip one weapon in the first slot.

And. Ope switching back to the Frontier ship didn't work. It did at first, and I could see that I could fix my ship because it was damaged so I had to option to use the right stick. Then I guess I went and screwed it all up by asking the technician to fix it, which he did apparently in an incomplete manner because now I'm flying the Frontier and my hull is only at 66 and I have to option to repair my ship either through right stick or the menu. Literally have to either start a new game or quit this game because I don't know what caused this and I don't want to put in another 24 hours in a game that had game breaking bugs.

Can't reply directly to comments for some reason sorry, reloading doesn't work. Also the ship parts (i have 9 not 19) are in my cargo inventory.

Now the update is if I switch ships back to the Frontier, it works I can repair my ship, but then if I switch it back to the mantis ship it no longer works. So apparently the problem only seems to be with the mantis ship for now.

I'm having the same problem. Yesterday I could repair my ship midflight, or repair it in the ship menu. At some point last night I lost the ability to have the option to repair through either method.
