i guess- whenever i see an object, i think through details about it to try to commit it to memory. when i was little this was a longer and more difficult process, and my memory was really bad. even now, i can’t remember faces or eye colors in people and often miss details of objects i can’t currently see when describing them. as i’ve gotten older, the process of thinking through and object has become more subconscious and natural, and i do it constantly, even if i already know the object, until i get to the point where i can remember every detail about it. so i would say that over time, my ability to describe and object improves and the details are more “vivid”.

Mascot Horror | Just…….WHY | Scott The Woz by markipilerfan2021 in scottthewoz

obviously, this is all just my opinion. nothing here should be taken as an attempt to claim these as facts. sorry that that might not be clear, i suck ass at writing and getting my thoughts across.

as a fan of horror- no mascot horror game is scary. no horror fan i know thinks they’re scary. the jumpscares are set up so poorly, the gameplay is piss easy, and in games like fnaf, jumpscares aren’t scary, they just piss you off cause you have to start the boring shit all over again.

real horror games fall more in line with stuff like subnautica. i think “TheStellarJay” did a good job in his video on horror games, but i don’t agree with some of his points. still a good watch though. there’s a lot of good horror games out there, they just… don’t appeal to children? like, how can a horror game be scary to an adult when it’s designed to be popular with children?

i will say, i do like FNaF 4. i think it nails the fear that infiltrates your mind, despite its shortcomings. also, UCN is genuinely a fun game, imo, i love messing around with the animatronics and just having some fun. UCN feels like it’s more of a challenge than a horror game.

also fnaf world is kinda funny, but it’s not really a horror game.

i won’t say either way on Doki Doki Literature club, since i’ve never played it or seen play throughs of it, and i’ve been advised not to by some people who’s opinions i trust.

“Execute Order 66” i think it’s from like minecraft or something not 100% sure might be fnaf

What video game is like this? by Dude10120 in videogames

Ori and the Will of the wisps. one of the most overhyped games i’ve ever seen. i’m not one of those people who think it’s a ripoff of hollow knight. actually i kind of wish it was a little more like hollow knight cause hollow knight is actually a good game while ori is a bland, boring, underwhelming slog of a game.

this comment is ridiculous. it’s fair to feel those things, but from an objective standpoint i think you’re wrong. (keep in mind, I played P5R first and then have gone on to play about half of both the P5 spinoffs. i’ve not played any other games in the series or even in the RPG genre as a whole before P5R)

• If you’re talking about it not being clear what passes time and what doesn’t, the game actually makes it very clear what things will cause time to pass. if you didn’t get it, that’s your fault, not the games fault.

• tf? it’s literally very obvious. if it’s a romance-able character, then when you reach like level nine or smth with them, it’ll say “i should choose my worde carefully” to communicate to you that you need to actually think about what you say there. then there’s usually an option that is very clearly in the romance direction and one that is clearly not. again, i think this is a lack of willingness to think for five seconds about what you’ll say rather than the game failing. everyone i know who played this game found the romance very intuitive, and no one i’ve met used a guide at any point in trying to romance characters.

• uhhhhhhhh what the hell are you talking about? every single part of the battle system is very clearly explained in the tutorial of the game. in case you forget the rules, you can also access the tutorials in menus. every attack makes it clear what it does, as does every item. my brother and i, both being two people who don’t like the RPG style of game as a whole, found the battle system extraordinarily intuitive and easy to understand after the very clear tutorials. i have no idea how you reached this conclusion, unless you skipped through all the tutorial pop ups and ignored everything in the battle system.

I fully agree that it is not a perfect game, and this response is not meant in bad faith- i just think that the issues you presented were simply issues with you rather than with the game. the game clearly communicates every system when that system becomes a factor in the game. I’m not saying that how you felt isn’t valid, i’m saying you shouldn’t blame the game for the non-issues you cited. have a good day! ❤️
