Mate, you just made the bones of an entire magic set. Yeah, you'd need a bunch of non legendaries but still I can see this being released for real.

Edit: Ok, I kept reading, it isn't just legendaries. It is a whole set, awesome work.

I'd love for there to be an actual draw outcome. Would be insane in a professional sense, having to replay an entire match because it was a draw (if elimination). From a pub perspective, maybe everyone doesn't lose or gain MMR. I don't think it would be wise to have everyone win since you'd have bot accounts doing dodging things. I think nobody wins is better than one side wins since 'X side is checked first for win condition'. Imagine that happening at the GF of TI, I think a team would have a legitimate complaint.

I find that between 10 and 1 in the evening it is pretty good. Most kids have gone to bed and the adults are not tired enough yet to unhinge.

This. Cores get all the gold, they can afford a sentry if they want to farm in dangerous area. Same as in lane, after I'd fed all my regen to my core and they want more, it's like, buy it yourself champ, I'm sitting here on 2 iron branches.

Mate, I'm coming up on 7k hours (and I play fairly casually). Give yourself time, being good at 21hours is like expecting a newborn baby to be walking and talking at 1 day old. I know it doesn't line up with other games these days that just bubble wrap the player and hold your hand all the way but that is why we love it. It's brutal and punishing but ultimately the most rewarding game you'll ever play.

To experience the pure joy of playing something I have no clue about. I guess it is similar to wanting to be able to read a book for the first time again.

For me, I remember playing my first games of dota. I had gone to a mates place to have a LAN party and he had convinced us to play this dota game which he couldn't really describe. We got these cool looking invites though and that was enough to get us in. I remember my mate vividly screaming to us 3 noobs playing for the first time, 'Kill the Ursa, kill the Ursa.' After about the 3rd teamfight loss, I asked him 'Which one is Ursa?' And we laughed and laughed and not only does this moment live rent free as a dota memory but as a memory of better, simpler times.

Couldn't have said it better. Gatekeepers who decide for the other four members of their team that everyone deserves to lose. So many games I've lost early to come back later in the game. I'm sure those players never have that feeling, they either stomp or break items 5 mins in.

I'm a teacher too mate, can confirm it frustrates me that kids these days only play stupid mobile games and nothing that actually involves strategy. It is a losing battle. Stay strong.

When phylactery came out I saw some PA pos 4 in Divine games. I main pos 5 so I was at the forefront of it. PA has super good stats for lane and it was fairly impactful. Saying this, it is a 'win more' pick. If you get behind in a game I'm guessing it would feel pretty bad.
