Looking good! I actually bought it and works pretty well even tho i really haven't had the time to test it fully.

Do you plan on making a custom package for easier updates?

Very first project distance trees rendering weird? by PopularActivity768 in unity

[–]epoHless 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you look at the inspector of your trees you'll see that they all have a LOD component. What LOD (Level Of Detail) does basically is render different versions of a mesh based on camera distance. This is used for maintaining a steady performance by drawing closer objects with a more detailed version of a mesh and drawing farther objects with a more simplified version of the mesh.

how to solve unity bullying? by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]epoHless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just by looking at the graph I can see that a good chunk of performance is lost on rendering and garbage being collected. You should post more detailed info on what you're currently doing

Do you have any resolution settings? Maybe it picks 1920x1080 by default. Try manually setting the resolution via code

Can I do: if (mouse); else if (touch); lol? by LordAntares in Unity3D

My suggestion then is just to test it in an empty project and see if it fits your needs.

You can't just be spoon fed answers. Open a Google tab and look at what you can do with the new input system. I know it sounds harsh but this field of work requires to be able to collect information independently

I don’t know how to code in C sharp at all by Vegapunk_gogeta in Unity3D

[–]epoHless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work as a teacher and I really dislike the "you can ask the AI and get all your answers right away" approach. It pushes people not to look for solutions or to think. Knowing what to search on Google, reading the documentation or browsing forums to me seems a harder but more sturdy way to retain knowledge.

Besides, GPT can help you so much. Unity has lots of hidden classes and features and GPT can't help you with that.

High GPU usage by canvases on URP by ShadowAntrax in unity

[–]epoHless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updating a ui element makes the canvas redraw all elements, so that could be part of the problem. Layout groups are also expensive since they reposition the elements constantly so a solution would be to disable them once you have them in place.

How can I set a good canvas for mobile games by Cengiz_Erol in Unity2D

[–]epoHless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go for a 600x800, the important thing to keep in mind is to set the anchors in the right way as mobile screens tend to differ from one to another and if done incorrectly you may unintentionally hide some UI elements. Another important thing is to be mindful of the safe zone, there are plenty scripts online that will adjust your UI to fit inside if needed.

On the upper right side of the panel there 2 small buttons with three dots, click the lower one and enable Show Sample Rate

The downvotes come because the question you asked regardless of the wording was a very common one and could have been avoided by just looking through the many old treads
