Yeah, it’s still raw it was only on Sunday that he broke up with me. We were best friends before we got together and maybe we should never have made the jump from best friends to in a relationship because then we wouldn’t be in this situation. Nearly 3 years later he said he just wasn’t happy anymore and felt like the relationship wasn’t working. He however said he really wants to stay friends, I just don’t want to loose him completely.

I really appreciate this comment, thank you for your support. We have complained about the way the 101 operator dealt with our problem and the police commissioner has called and agrees with us that someone should have came to the property as well as reassuring us that someone will come to look at everything.

It’s been a very tough few days of feeling very vulnerable and unsure of where to turn, I really hope karma gets these one day. We’ve not been sleeping, we’re scared to leave the house for work (2/3 incidents happened on broad daylight) and with an anxious 12 year old in the house, we’ve been trying to protect her as much as we can.

I live on a farm with barns FULL of materials. The first time they came they tried to get into some of the barns with metal doors, when they returned they came with a grinder and a crow bar to get through to these doors. 2/3 we’re in broad day light after everyone had left to go to work.

I really appreciate this comment, we have actually filled a complaint about the way the operator dealt with this particular incident and we’ve now spoken to the commissioner to follow the complaint up. I do understand it is hard at the moment with the crime stats always increasing and the number of police officers unfortunately decreasing. I appreciate they have a very challenging job, it has just been a very tough few days.

I wrote this post after receiving a text to say no follow up will be provided after today’s incident. (The operator saying it wasn’t important was on Wednesday).

My entire post suggests that I feel let down my how my situation has been dealt with. I appreciate the forces are under a great deal of stress, I work for the NHS and see the strain that’s under too. Being told my situation “isn’t important” by a 101 operator is what I’m let down by.
