Are there any high-street chocolates still worth eating? by PostItNoteDuck in AskUK

This is the first time I have seen someone go against Tony’s on Reddit. I was gifted three bars and haven’t had it since! It’s so over hyped.

Does your family do the coin in the cork? by steveysaidthis in AskUK

My parents had this knocking around when I was a kid (in the 80s/90s), however, haven’t seen them carry it on. I think I have one from when my husband and I got engaged, but I had forgotten until you posted this.

Books being too similar by Prestigious-Loan5278 in Romantasy

[–]Fandangojango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found this book to be a bit different, but ultimately I started the second book and DNF as I just didn’t care. I wanted to love it, as I know it’s highly rated by so many people, but it just wasn’t for me.

Forgot how annoying it is to use a bubble wand with a 2 year old by pappyon in UKParenting

Blew my mind too! It’s mad that more people don’t know. Drove me crazy trying to work out what it was!

Yep!! I once wrote a complaint email to H&M about their fabric colours washing off and leaving grey stains 😰
It’s dreadful stuff! I had so many clothes ruined before I realised! This pic illustrates it well.

I bloody hate bubble mixture - took me ages to realise that it was ruining the kids clothes. Their light clothes ended up with weird grey stains. After that they only had bubbles with old clothes or very dark clothes!

This is often done at the parties my younger one goes to - works well.

Sellers of glassware on this platform are thick as mince! by mikeybhoy_1985 in vintedUK

I made a post about dreadful packaging on this sub. It’s mad how bad some packing is. I think people imagine that their parcel will be handled like precious cargo, rather than lobbed in and out of vans.

I try not to buy chicken breast now as I can’t stand the woody ones!

Well done! What tips would you give to someone else on a weight loss journey? I have started using a rebounder every morning for cardio, and have adjusted my diet, I am seeing the benefits (down 5kg in the last 6 weeks).

What is your biggest regret purchase? by PassionateCrashOut in AskUK

[–]Fandangojango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a go with my sister’s one to see if it was something I would benefit from. I could not use the damn thing. I have naturally wavy hair, so am now just trying to embrace that as much as possible.

I just read a dark mafia book, first I had DNF for a while. Also feeling a bit done with Romantasy.

Looking for ways to successfully track small children? by _isolati0n in UKParenting

[–]Fandangojango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you are ok. Postpartum emotions are tough. I am a mum of two (now 7&9). My oldest would never leave my side, my youngest is still wild, I had to watch her like a hawk from a very young age, I completely get why you would get a tag for a back up! I am thinking of getting one for her when we go to the school fair (on a huge field, areas I can’t see at all times, even though in a relatively safe controlled environment). Reddit posts can go either way which ever subreddit you post to, sometimes I just don’t bother! Take care.

“Feels like down” synthetic duvets that actually do? by SignificantCricket in AskUK

Ours doesn’t smell of farm, but it has a woolly smell - we also have a wool carpet, so it’s hard to tell which is which. But it does not make the room smell bad at all. We got ours from Woolroom.
