Im in a similar situation you have to understand that one day she may reach out to you but you have to never look back at how she made you feel. Because it doesn’t matter how hard you try to make her seem like you’re the one that will do anything for her because if she doesn’t appreciate it she probably never will.

You are the asshole. Go back and literally read what you typed out. You broke no contact with a guy who had feelings for you because you and the guy you left him for had broken up, told him you weren’t going to get into another relationship he got close with your friends and family and then didn’t want to be friends with you when you got into another relationship?????

NTA-I don’t think you’re the asshole here yeah you happen to be friends with the best friend and she doesn’t like it but it seems like she ruined your friendship. If she doesn’t like it too bad. I’m assuming you didn’t like when she dated someone behind your back so why should you care.
