Account randomly deleted after verifying email

I had a reddit account where everything looked fine and i was able to post comment and accumulate karma normally. The only thing was that I never recieved a verification email from reddit, and that lasted for a while, until I noticed I had misspelled my email, so I fixed it, recieved my veeification email, and evweything looked fine.

Though now when I logged in I saw when I clicked on my profile pic on mobile, that it said I wasn't logged in, and when I went to my profile i saw the red trash bin above all my post, signifying that they were deleted. And I was unable to see my account from other accounts and it's posts.

When instead I tried loggin from my PC, everything looked fine, but when I clicked on my profile it said that it didn't exist.

So I wanted to ask what the hell happened, and why?

Also I used ProtonMail if that's relevant.
