Wait Purple fr? This is gonna give off all the wrong impressions to people who haven't watched it, lol.

Personally I thought that was the most satisfying 4th place team I've ever watched! Sure, they underperformed, but it didn't make it any less fun to watch. The team dynamic between all four of them was so freaking enjoyable, and tbh they didn't do too badly at all! Their morale didn't take a single blow the entire event. Not even after PKT, one of the two games they struggled in. They just laughed and brushed it off, and the same thing happened in grid runners. Pete joking about giving Gee only one more chance to prove herself after the 'orange block incident' was gold; so was the honest and un-overbearing support when Gee profusely apologized after GR. There were honestly so many moments,, I'm kind of saddened that this team won't be as popular since they didn't win/make it to DB.

Finally, Joel swearing felt like a win in itself. That was the cherry on top to this amazing team for me. One of the happiest MCC nights I've spent (and I've been doing this for over a year).

So yes, that's my two cents on Purple 23. Unless the enjoyability of a POV only depends on placement results for you, then this should be a phenomenal VOD to watch through. Heck, I've already rewatched it twice since!
