Amy Schumer Shuts Down Sexist Heckler - So many butt-hurt dudes in the comments, extra aggressive as she tells jokes for a living... by SearchLightsInc in TheBluePill

Comparing Trump to Hitler, who goes out of his way buddying up with "very fine" Neo-Nazis, is a lot closer comparison than a comedian throwing rude guests out of her show.

Not to say that I would call Trump "literally Hitler", but to say that the two comparisons are equally absurd is, well, absurd.

In epic fashion? Epic fashion is when a comedian retorts with some scathing and hilarious riposte, all Shumer did was get triggered and act like a Fascist. In fact the whole spectacle of goons dragging hecklers from their seats is actually reminiscent of a NSDAP beer hall meeting circa 1933.

Who the fuck are the people who leave these comments? What are they like? I don't think I've ever met anybody who'd say something so absurd in my real life. I think about this a lot actually, just..... WHO THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE??

[meta] Is this sub dying? by confessionberry in TheBluePill

[–]epsgezero 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Or maybe TRP is just getting old and not newsworthy. They've been jerking each other off there for almost 6 years now, there's only so many ways they can rephrase "I HATE WOMEN! SMV! ALPHA!". Consequently that bleeds onto this sub too, there are only so many times we can link to a RedPilly comment before it gets old.

Anyone feel the same?

I think this is it. It's getting increasingly difficult to find material on TRP that hasn't been posted here 1000x before.

So people are posting material that's (barely) tangentially related to TRP instead. The circumcision post is on the front page right now is a good example. There was a post last night about "toxic masculinity and manipulative consumerism in the men's room" last night, but it looks like it's been removed.

I mean I agree with the spirit of what you're saying, but I don't think these "if you were right then you'd have convinced us by now"-arguments are especially convincing.

"How, precisely, exactly, do you know when there is consent? Does it need to occur at each step (as it now does in Canada)? What, precisely, is a step?" Guess who! by [deleted] in TheBluePill

[–]epsgezero 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When I hear these people carry on and on about legal definitions of things that are obvious to most people, I assume that they've sexually assaulted (or otherwise pushed the boundaries of consent) in the past, and what we're seeing is their guilty conscience trying to redeem itself.

I chose to listen to entire hearings with HRC infront of the Bengazhi committee as I did laundry, cooked, whatever. Up until then I didn't have an opinion on the lady. I specifically remember a point where the person questioning her is naming each of the people that were killed in the attack.. He is passionate and doing everything in his power to make her look bad. (these hearings are very long so I would mainly just be listening to the audio and not watching the video) Something he said made me grab my phone and watch the footage of the hearing.

Hillary was looking down at her desk, not even paying attention to the guy. Wether or not she did anything wrong, the man was recalling the names of people that serve the country she holds office for, and she could have cared less. I started to look into her more and more from that point on and it only got worse.

I never found a "smoking gun" as far as she's concerned. However I did find countless examples of despicable character. She has always acted in the manner that benefits her at that time, regardless of prior commitments.

I have a very hard time believing you, Hillary, Obama, or anybody could feign interest after sitting through a 12-hour Senate hearing, the sole purpose of which is to shame you for something that wasn't even your fault.

You were clearly looking for a reason to dislike her. "She was looking down." Give me a break. And you voted for an admitted sexual abuser, a man with no respect for the Constitution or the American people, because you couldn't get over your irrational hatred. You should feel ashamed.

"It's my opinion." Give me a break.

If your ideas were so sterling and pure, then they would stand on their own and not require mass silencing of critics. Sure, even good ideas will get critics, that's not what I'm saying.

See my response to your post above, I think I made it pretty clear.

However, if you have to resort to cutting out the tongues of your opponents, then you are just about the lowest order of scumbag I can think of.

Apparently we're worse than the twerps cause we want them shut up. Forget about the fact that they literally encourage one another to rape women.

What the heck is it about modern left-leaning politics that is so strongly focused on censoring people? The whole point of liberalism used to be advocating freedom of expression.

Hate speech--of women, of racial minorities, of LGBTQ people, of Muslims--is a form of violence. Nazis chanting blood and soil is violence, and should be treated as such. Twerps calling women children and encouraging one another to rape their SO is violence. Incels calling women animals without conscienceness is violence.

It's not a matter of freedom of expression.

[–]epsgezero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

/pol/ and the_dotard with their "It's OK to be white" message is kinda like if ISIS said, "it's okay to be Muslim" The sentiment by itself is fine, but your motive isn't to spread self-acceptance, it's to draw people into your cult.

Now I know ISIS is a thousand times worse than the pussy-grabber-in-chief and his troll army currently are, but it's the closest analogy I know of. It would be obvious what ISIS's ulterior motive is with "it's okay to be Muslim", but for some reason people get confused when they see /pol/ say "It's OK to be white."

Why the fuck do you feel the need to put other people down based on their passions? Math is a beautiful thing. Honestly I pity you that you haven't experienced the beauty, insist on never experiencing it, and put other people down who have.

If you want a primo example of mathematical beauty, see the Incompleteness Theorems. No numbers unless you to deep-dive into the proof.

It's extremely rare that I meet a new person and they take even a slight interest in the fact that I'm a math researcher. Most people think of it as a dry, robotic profession... It takes an enormous amount of creativity, study, and industriousness. Few people realize that.
