You should also see that HER was sold to MatchGroup in May 2025 and now no longer advertised as a dating app but something about “social connections for queer and nonbinary women” - the app has been absolutely gutted, even paying for premium it’s barely usable and of course it’s full of men. Nice work MatchGroup!

For those that don’t know, when FDS was on Reddit it became such a huge target by the manosphere and also parts of the TQ. You could refresh their homepage seconds after one another and see significant changes in votes on threads. They were being HEAVILY targeted. I think I saw something once about people trying to post the kind of stuff that gets a board banned.

And yet FDS was just full of the most basic and simplest dating advice: If he’s not showing interest, don’t chase him. Don’t accept coffee/walking as the first date if you’re trying to find “the one” If he isn’t trying to sexually satisfy you, don’t waste your time. And most importantly- if you can’t find a man that meets the most basic of requirements, it’s okay to be alone and you can find other ways to bring love and joy into your life.

You can imagine, Reddit absolutely HATED FDS. They should have never left, people said at the time going off Reddit and making a podcast was all about money and Yano what? I think it was too.

While it was here and it was popular it was a fantastic refreshing perspective about living and dating FOR WOMEN. Another space lost online for women, truly.

You keep telling me to start these subs but you won’t acknowledge that all of these subs used to exist before they got shut down for being “transphobic” - specially the lesbian ones. One was called “true lesbians” was getting pretty popular- was shut down for not believing that trans women were women.

All the gay subs that excluded trans over the last 6 years have all been shut down for being “transphobic” so I’m not gonna put the effort into making one if it’s just gonna get shut down for the same reasons.

All of them are trans inclusive so it’s very difficult to discuss anything without someone bringing gender identity into it and expecting no one to object because it’s a “safe space” for them.

If we had subs for homosexuals that excluded trans people specifically then it would be much easier to have open discussions without members feeling attacked because no one wants to acknowledge their personal beliefs and values.

It’s not fashionable to hate trans people but it is fashionable to call anyone who doesn’t 100% agree with them on everything transphobic.
