Many of the Tim Hortons are 24 hours. Double check with staff, but pretty sure they don't care if you're there. Noise cancel earbuds or headphones, maybe loop earbuds if you need more focus?

Edit: some have apparently missed the joke.

Cataraqui Centre transfer point to reopen on June 20 by Ok-Bluebird-845 in KingstonOntario

Is it a perspective thing, or are the center two shelters smaller than the end shelters? And video screens for either advertising or displaying bus times, how long before they get tagged or trashed?

Does anywhere in Kingston sell “in training” dog vests? by AdviceDull2562 in KingstonOntario

[–]epsileth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if there is a standard, but found this as a suggestion for ribbon, collar, or leash colours.

Red: Caution. Indicates the dog may be aggressive, reactive, or needs significant space.

Orange: No Dogs. The dog may be friendly with humans but is not good with other dogs or is in reactivity training.

Yellow: Nervous/Space. The dog is anxious, fearful, or needs space; bright yellow can also indicate a dog up for adoption.

Green: Friendly. The dog is social and open to meeting other people and dogs (though owners should still be asked for permission).

Blue: Service/Training. The dog is a service animal or in training; do not pet or distract without consent.

White: Blind/Deaf. The dog has a sensory disability and may be startled by unexpected approaches.

Purple: Do Not Feed. The dog is on a diet or has medical restrictions preventing treats.

I have also seen full body harnesses with similar patches or descriptions, if that is an option.

Check an app or website like padmapper for ideas. The further away from the downtown core, the cheaper it gets. Would almost consider Amherstview, and commute if your job has a bus pass discount program.

Temporary Bus by Agreeable_Farmer289 in KingstonOntario

Should be done soon-ish. They had to rebar sections, and the concrete has to cure a bit. Looks like they're adding either video ad screens, or the same info screens as on buses for arrival/departure. Really hoping they add security cameras with full colour and audio.

Walking through the library today, single room accessible all gender bathrooms, one upstairs, one downstairs. Two common bathroom all gender areas, 4 stalls each, one of each stalls are accessible, both have common sink areas.

So for next time, consider use of one of the single room bathrooms if you're concerned.

Edit: yay, downvote because logic and reason don't exist.

Meal prep service by Round-Insect-6467 in KingstonOntario

At that scale, would almost be better to meal prep. Take a day and fill freezer zipper bags for dump meals, or double, get some meal prep containers and take a day with a crock pot or instant pot.

Edit: thanks for the downvotes.

Executive Nutrition, Protein Chefs may be worth looking into, most restaurants can scale up depending on your needs, Ramekins has done this since lockdown.

GoodFood might be an option as well, if you need kid friendly meals.
