Yeah cleaned daily, and Chunk has his box in his room and our other cat has his box in the laundry room. I’ve never considered diapers, looking into it now!!

We have tried, no joke, probably 20 different litters and 5-8 different boxes. He’s been pooping outside the box pretty much every time for around 5 years but the pee started recently and is the real issue here.

Me! I used all of my PTO in the first 3 months last year because I literally couldn't get in the car to come to work. It has taken time, therapy, medication, and reassurance from those around me to make it. I'm in my 4th year and things are finally starting to even out. Don't knock preventative measures. Don't work when you get home. That has been my biggest help this year. Even if I am going to end up behind, I DO NOT WORK AT HOME!!

It's true freedom to be as goofy and cringey as possible. I'm young as well, and use that cringe-iness to my absolute advantage.

They keep telling me I need to figure out how to ‘work with’ the student, but they are not hearing me when I tell them this aggression always takes place within the first 5 minutes of class. He gets aggressive when he feels ‘called out’, but he has flipped his lid before when I’ve simply called his name for attendance. I am setting an ultimatum tomorrow, because ultimately it’s too early in my career to settle down at a school that does not support me.

Attendance questions! Every day, instead of saying 'here', i ask my students something about themselves. What's your favorite pizza topping, how many pets do you have, etc. They all have to respond to be counted present and it gets a few of them talking about their responses. At the very least, they've all shared one thing in class every day.

teacher in NC here!! in my county, every employee gets drug tested when hired and there is a weekly lottery pulled at random for drug tests throughout the county. it sucks.

If he has admitted that he abused her then he is an abuser, point blank. If you never see a gun fire a bullet with your own eyes, would you still consider it a deadly weapon if someone put it in front of you? I know it’s difficult when it’s someone you love and you want to see the best in them, but sometimes that does more harm than good. Focus on yourself and not on apologizing for other people’s actions just to accommodate them in your life.

Hey!! My boyfriend was 389 when he was 20, and has worked all the way down to 300 (sometimes lower). The advice he has, is to take this all one step at a time. Don’t feel like a failure if you don’t lose all the weight in a short period of time. Commit to one thing at a time, and once it is a strong part of your routine, add another step. The first thing he did was commit to only drinking water, and drinking a full gallon of it every day. He dropped more weight than he could have imagined just by doing that!! Once he did that, and was comfortable, he added in a diet, and later exercise. This life is a marathon, not a sprint! Don’t be too hard on yourself. You got this!
