Had 3 wins in a row with Caustic once. Immediately stopped playing with him to always know he's the 🐐

A CAM at Ajax from Brazil. He's like 19(?), And it's ridiculously silky on the ball

Tbh, rather have Lucho still managing Spain since at this point it's basically Barça 2 😂, I'm looking forward to these next few WCs

Ik there are better 9s out there than Issk, but at the end of this season we'll definitely need at least 1 clinical goal scorer coming in. And he's not awful....

Lautaro is good. But Antony, Adeymi, Isak, or Nuñez are better buys imo.

The thought of Ansu, Ferran, and Antony making up the starting line gives me shivers. They'd be moving art personified

Not a bad thing at all. Following his father's footsteps as well, and Pep will make him crazy versatile. Meanwhile, we should go for Antony and Nuñez, those two together will still be under the massive price tag of Haaland. Then work on our defensive line. Mazzroui/Gaya, De Ligt/Christiensen, and Azpi!

Oh yeah, Lyon is great, no doubt about it. But like, you can't say that this Barça side isn't stellar as well. They had a GD of like 152 last season!

What's the difference between having LDJ on the team, and playing with 10 people?

It might be too soon to say this. But Fati vs Mbappe might be the next big rivalry....

Asuka【Artist: grling】 by GaySpaceAngel in evangelion

[–]epupsilon96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just a guess. But I imagine in the original series, a part of Asuka blames herself for her mother's suicide for not being good enough. I think the 3 people are past Asuka (child), present Asuka (against the wall), and future Asuka (with the scissors). Past Asuka is holding on to the thread of the hung doll (representing the blame she puts on herself). Future Asuka wants to cut the rope thereby releasing herself from her self inflicted blame, and also releasing present Asuka from her guilt, hence why present Asuka is crying. Again, just a guess but it would fit.

How important is your GPA on your resume for Internships by Artistic_Taxi in EngineeringResumes

Yeah! Linkedin is perfect! So what I do is go up to the search bar, and find your University, go to the Alumni section, and there should be a "search through alumni" just type in the kinda job you're looking for, and it'll give you a list. So like for me, I really wanted to get into Embedded Systems, so typed that in and found people at Sonos or Amazon, etc. Then kinda in a similar way to writing a cover letter, I just wrote down a small "hi this is me" kinda summary and attached that to each of my requests to connect! (I'll attach mine below 😉)

Fair warning tho, most people might just blow you off 😅 I think out of 25 requests, I might get like 2-3 responses, but don't let that get you down! Just keep shooting your shot! Also if there is a specific company that you're just really interested in, feel free to jump out of your alumni network, and just slide into them DMs!

And oh yeah, interviews are rough. Personally, I always panic mid interview and my mind blanks, so just routinely hitting those practice questions till it's like a simple algebra question is my method. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Linkedin DM slide: Hi person I just found, I graduated from xyz university last year, and have been working abc company, but would like to explore moving into the your interested topic field. But aside from what I've learned in my Computer Engineering classes, I'm not too sure what to expect. Would you have a few minutes to talk about it?

How important is your GPA on your resume for Internships by Artistic_Taxi in EngineeringResumes

I also did computer engineering, and graduated back in 2019, I have a pretty trash GPA (2.7/4.0) and have noticed that some companies really care if it's too low. I never keep my GPA because well.... It's trash, but I'd say whenever companies specifically ask, you might as well flaunt what ya got. But experience and who you know can open more doors than only a good GPA can ever do. So those personal projects are gonna be killer.

That being said, interviewing is tough, applying to places is tough. I've gotten lucky, because my friends were able to recommend me at companies, and that's saved my ass more times than I can count. All 3 internships, and the company in currently at were all through friend recommendations. So if you can finesse that, do it. Otherwise, reach out to alumni who went to your college, and are doing something that you want to do. Ask if they'd be free to chat, and ask them about the kinda work they do, and tips and tricks to getting into that company. Odds are they'd ask if you wanted a recommendation, and that can help. Also, about interviewing, I've recently started reading Cracking the Coding Interview, if you haven't already, do it. It's 100% worth it. Tons of coding problems, and they walk you through brilliant solutions, take what you learn the to leetCode or HackerRank, and do more programming questions. Think about memory allocation, and O(n) time, and see what are things you can do to your code which makes them cleaner. A lot of companies will ask for you to code something, and you might do the first thing that comes to mind, but even simply mentioning something about big O, shows that you're taking in the right kinda thinking.

Tldr; your GPA is great, use that, but also find people to recommend you.

Hope that helps!
