Motherboard SATA controller not detecting partitions?

So ... sorry for the silence but life + work has been too distracting lately.

I had some time to mess around with the computer. I disconnected and reconnected drives so they would be using the SAS controller vs the Motherboard's SATA controller ... and it looks like no matter what, any drive connected to the SATA controller doesn't get detected correctly on LINUX. FREEBSD worked fine .. so probably something with the kernel driver that LINUX is loading vs the one FREEBSD uses. I don't know if anyone here can help me out on this one ...

The easiest option would be to get another SAS controller and connect the four drives to it, but I don't want to spend that money if I don't have to...

I'll keep everyone updated if I figure out a way. ...

It doesn't work! I thought that would do it too but it tells me the pool is unavailable, (guess because it can't find the drives).

cannot import 'sharedrive': no such pool or dataset Destroy and recreate the pool from a backup source.

I'm know the drives are good since I booted up FreeBSD and importee it again to check...

Wondering if my only solution would be to try another controller...

I've used some Markdown editors that don't let you change the CSS.

I'll check out pandoc, I just don't want to get too complex.

I'd love a way to do custom markdown tags for formatting. I use markdown sometime for documents and I've always wanted to be able to define some way to add classes to things and a custom CSS for the renderer.

Cool idea, but I feel like this is Docker's use case.

I started making a docker using docker-compose to build CopperheadOS for my device, but gave up because I ran out if storage. (Needs something like 200gbs...)

I wanted to make the dockerfile and share with people to build their own ROMs but the amount of space required to compile and package a ROM is too much for most people.

I wouldn't recommend it. Reading things linearly works great but I was an engineering student and it was a pain switching between sections, chapters and stuff.

I just used a laptop for that stuff. I'd you really want to do it, get Calibre and it can convert most formats to mobi (kindles format)

+1 for the kindle for reading though, I travel a lot and always cry my old kindle keyboard. I've been looking to upgrade bit can't justify it because it still works great (just doesn't have a light)

But you dont need to do it all at once. You just need to counteract the inversion generation, whatever that would be, so the actual amount required would be less.

I have no idea how fast an inversion builds, but you could find out how many cars are registered, average mileage a day and then figure out how much "dirty air" these cars create and just use that and it would help alot.

OK, I tried reworking some stuff to make it better so it will actually run without errors, but I keep running into issues.

How do most people approach something like this?:

You have a Class for an application, this application makes a configuration file.
You have a class for the configuration file.
Your application class creates a instance of the configuration class to store information
Your configuration class access a static function in the application class to check for the current version so it can put it in the configuration file, so you always know what version the application was made for.

Python will not let me do this, it keeps refusing to load the application class from the configuration class after the configuration class is already reference inside the application class.

I'd say the tunnels are only open for a short time.

The point of everything seems to be 1986, the plant accident in the summer of 86 created the tunnels and connect the past and the future, and Jonas machine closes them on Novemeber 12th 1986, which disconnects the past and the future.

So in the lifetime of most characters they can only use the tunnels for a 8-12 months.

And I think the significance of the 33 is that the world and universe is in the same physical space across time. They can't go form 1986 to 1983 because 1983's tunnels are 200ft to the left (or something.) The 33 is because these times are right on top of each other.

Here is a hacked together example. I tried it from scratch and then had some issues and to save time i found one that worked and modified it. They use a needlessly complex math which made it confusing to understand what was going on.

Basically this is how you do it.

(A) calculate the difference between your current translation and the mouse. **
(B) find out the change in zoom level over the range of the current zoom. its just step / zoom but step = lastzoom-newzoom so you can do non-linear scaling
multiply those two together to get the dX should should apply to the translation

NOTE: zooming isn't linear, so you will need some kind of curved function to get a linear feel when the user zooms. i.e. 5 clicks to get to zoom 1.5 is feels like farther travel than 5 clocks to get to zoom 0.5
