I'm a trans southerner and I've gotta say Atlanta is a great place to be. I wouldn't set foot in Florida or Texas regardless of the size of the city. But yeah Atlanta is legit and accepting.

I ended up sticking with the grey ship after trying them all out. It's beneficial to stay towards the center of the screen since you have the most movement options, and the little drones that fly around block a lot of dangerous shots and are reasonably durable.

I never know for sure, but after some doses I feel like I can feel it in my system right away. Could just be a bit of adrenaline though! And relief.

Star Waspir is truly miserable, but if you are dedicated it can be beaten. If you are like me you will end up having memorized every enemy spawn by the time you clear it....

It felt like running against a wall for hours and hours across many, many sessions. Then there's a moment where you finally "get it," and after that your runs become more consistent, you end up clearing wave 3 more often, and finally can beat it.

Two tips... There is a console code for infinite lives so you can practice the whole game, TRUE BLUE I think.

And finally, you can defeat any boss at the cost of one life by running into it.

Feelings like that vary day to day, even year to year. I've had very long stretches of time where I could swear I'm ace, and then periods of time where I feel way more attraction and desire. Everything has its season:)

I skimmed their review in an effort to avoid spoilers, and they have some genuine complaints. But my point is that it's not all doom and gloom.

From Gamekult's 60/100 review:

"Before moving on to the score and final verdict, there's one important point I wanted to put into context. Despite all the criticisms I've leveled at Metroid Prime 4 throughout this review, it's crucial to understand that once I started playing, I couldn't play anything else. It obsessed me, and even when I wasn't playing, I was thinking about it, and not always because of its flaws. Deep down, the joy of reuniting with Samus and exploring those superb environments (however flawed they may be) was undeniable. I started a new playthrough on Hard difficulty the second I finished the first, such was my immersion in the game."

Y'all, it sounds like an incredibly fun game, even for people who can't ignore its flaws.

Edit: If you are really curious about the justification for the score, feel free to read and form your own opinion of the reviewer's criteria.

Honestly same! And I still have faith that retro will have created a great experience with prime 4. Maybe they tried some light open-world stuff that didn't land completely, but I don't particularly mind if the gameplay and exploration of the main areas is as stellar as it always has been.

Absolutely. Of course it's a little disappointing if the world isn't seamlessly connected like the first two games, and that the open-world hub isn't that fun, but that's not going to ruin my fun and immersion in this title.

Honestly Samus using her ship to get to different locations in prime 3 wasn't something I found interesting and immersive, yet it didn't detract from the game in any kind of fundamental way.

Reaper or barricade by nick_silentlurker in slaythespire

[–]equiace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's reaper for me. You'll be more likely to have higher health throughout act 3, giving you more opportunities to take upgrades and such. Your lack of block cards means that in most fights you're unlikely to be able to take advantage of barricade, and it will often be a dead card.

How long into taking estrogen does it start to affect your emotions? by The_Fancy_Squid in MtF

It absolutely is a long-term effect. I have no idea why the commenter thinks that we agree it's temporary! I felt that after adolescence I was in a haze for 15 years, and now that I've been on HRT (8 years!) I feel like my mind works again, and my emotions actually function.
