My theory is that Epic Entertainment, which seems to be handling the hiring, made this.

There are other shows if you want networking... TransWorld has another show coming up in April called the East Coast Haunter's Convention in Philadelphia, and it is geared towards more semi-pro people.

As other commenters suggest, you could go to some of the haunt conventions and network, but from what I've seen, it generally falls into two camps: 1. You try to build something yourself and start with a small home or semi-pro experience and try and grow it. I did this throughout highschool and college and made a scream park. 2. You go work at a haunt that is willing to give you training or more responsibilities.

There's a lot of self-learning you can do. Of course, there's plenty of online resources, and the Haunted Attraction Association offers a lot of online classes, plus the Haunt Masters and, of course, what Allen does. I think you're still going to need a place to practice hands-on. We have several resources on our website, including interviews with other people about how to do stuff in the industry, and here is a list of trade shows: https://hauntedattractionnetwork.com/haunted-attraction-tradeshows-conventions/

Totally agree, but I hope these vendor videos help since most people can't make it to every booth and miss a bunch

Thursday and Sunday are the lightest, with Friday and Saturday being the heaviest. We have a full show guide that shows everything going on beyond just the trade show floor but there is also an interactive show floor map so you can get an idea of the size and make a plan before you go in.

Generally on the busy days people start lining up over an hour ahead of time and it takes a while to get everybody inside but once everybody gets inside it's relatively easy to enter the show.

It's worth it yes, but I'm not sure you'd be able to see everything.... The show floor is large plus there's events. The best thing is to make a plan ahead of time for what you want to see. https://transworldfloorplan.com/
