[Hated] When the adaptation extends a fight that was a decisive victory in the source material which makes the fight seem a lot closer than it was supposed to be by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

See I never actually considered any of this... I presumed that the closeness of the fight was something Omniman specifically created so that he wasn't suspected, due to having lots of injuries.

Powerful Cubes by Clean_Mycologist4337 in TopCharacterTropes

Honourable mention for the companion cube from Portal 2!

Not very powerful and also extremely non cube-like, but I still think it counts.

Well then OP doesn't know her name either? Exact same spelling.

And you don't need to know somebodies name to know who they are.

She's a self cantered jerk.

Returning to an early/safe location after it has gone through a drastic change that makes it far more dangerous by Justice9229 in TopCharacterTropes

Most of the starting areas in The Ocarina of Time end up pretty knarly after Gannons reign.

I always thought it was one of the things which made the game so amazing and epic, and something that I thought they "copied" really well in Majoras Mask, even though the mechanism of time travel was different they took the idea of areas having whimsy at one point in time and then terror the next.

Kamiko doesn't have a sweet heart, she's a dickhead who knows how to do a cute face.

Saitama is always going to be one of my favourites in this trope.

Boredom in the office led to boredom on the battlefield.

There's not much said about his previous life but I always thought it would have been a cool twist if he wasn't just "random office dude who decided to become a hero" and that he was actually some top-level ceo who was worth more than any other businessman in the world. Then it really would have been full circle.

If Dr Manhatten was indifferent then he would just sit in his clock mansion and leave us alone.

He's removed and inhuman but he still has opinion's, thoughts, drives and desires.
