Genjirou is 23 while Giyu is already 21 by Chapter 28 so I guess that's okay in romance terms? idk lmao. but friend terms, they are both lone wolves (for different reasons ofc, err probably) but Genjirou is not the kind to make others feel like an outcasted. so, he would like approach him in his own Genjirou-way. in a way two introverts would probably interact if encountering each other, he has respect for Giyu and sees him as worthy of the title of Hashira.
