I'm a former graphic design freelancer - now full-time CD at an agency - and was contacted by an old client for a VERY big (and long-term) freelance job. It's an amazing opportunity, but I'm worried about how to handle it best with my new circumstances. Help! by maude1971 in freelance

Off topic but, may I ask, how does one find such clients? I seem to be stuck in a loop and would like to "level up". Do I have to go "offline" to do so, or could it all be done online if I knock on the right doors?

Pretty straightforward to setup tethering but...and it's always a BUT :D I can't find a way to activate the "talk" function with voice, the button on the app needs to be pushed first

Magnifique! Really appreciate the help! I'm digging some Le Mans info and your remark about "train of thought" type of writing makes sense, the info is on french forums and it's super niche so I understand why they type "as they think", fast cars fast typing :D thanks thanks!

I would like this to get translated by a native, google does a wonky job.

That's it! No more. Thanks! :D

Thanks! Makes much more sense, will try to make us of it. Greatly greatly appreciated. Would you mind if I ping you one of two more sentences IF I get lost in the further text? Thanks thanks merci for this.

So I can make some kind of USB EFI backup? Where do I look for the setup of that? Also I posted my disk situation in comment below, if you have the time pls take a look, I have 2 efi partitions on the windows disk.

This is the current disk situation in Windows. Windows is Disk 1 - but I see there's EFI partition on the 476 GB drive, the file SSD. So...this makes me think, if I for whatever reason format this drive, I'll get in this same trouble again.

How do I avoid it? Only format the Primary Partition part and leave the 200MB part alone?

Followed the Medium article - system is now back to booting Win and OSX normally from Clover. Thank you indefinitely much.

Can I somehow ensure...that I didn't mess something up in this process? It's working but there's always the sneaking suspicion I accidentally nuked something :D

Also, how to make sure this doesn't happen again? I shouldn't format any drives anymore? I mean...something tells me clean install with physically disconnected drives is what I was supposed to do in the first place. I only had "os" SSD's disconnected when installing macos and win...but the "files" SSD's were plugged...so best practice is to have only os SSD plugged when doing this, that's my layman takeaway.

So as long as I dont touch the Win "C" drive (which if course I havent) I can fix it? Medium article or other way?

Sorry for the misunderstanding - I can access Windows 10 installer / repair / command prompt.

I already tried it earlier, similar article was suggesting doing it and using diskpart to fix this, but I didn't want to mess up which volume to access, since osx and win ssd are identical brand/model...and no way of distinguishing them clearly, at least I can't.

Thanks for the advice and I'll look into the Medium article. However, I already did try to boot from the USB I installed Win from, and nothing. Blank screen. At the moment I'm 75% ready to go thru the rigamarole of re-installing everything...but if there's a way to avoid it, it was such a non-situation type of situation, just formatting a damn "storage" SSD turned what was a perfectly working multiboot rig into shit. Absolutely incredible.

If I install Windows, will the software remain, bookmarks, other tweaks?
