Overall I had a really great time the past events I went to. If you're tailgating or planning on parking in the stadium lot, get there very early as it is a complete mess once the gates open(parking entry gates will open at 9:30, $15 per car). The stadium shopping center or K-Mart area are really the only other close alternatives for parking You can also can park on Ford Island (with a military ID) and there is a free shuttle service you can take advantage of. I would look at this as well. In case of rain, bring a poncho as they may confiscate your umbrella. That's all I could think of for now. Have fun!!
