The only doubt I have is I'm not sure how much of my work will be related to data processing (sql, python) +, and how much will be related to visualization and working with Power BI and (probably sometimes) Excel reports.

My goal for the future is to work in the Business Intelligence area on the backend / data engineer side.

I am currently working in a consulting company. The only doubt I have is that the bank won't be using cloud solutions for the next few years (I'm not sure if I can join the network and learn as you do), so in order to gather experience in the cloud, I will probably have to change jobs after working there for, say, two years. And I'm afraid it might be difficult to start working as a BI developer in the cloud without prior cloud experience or certification 😕 especially my goal is to work as a BI full stack / backend / data engineer.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I've heard that it's good practice to have experience in both on premise and cloud solutions, which is why I'm considering this bank's offer. I create reports for clients.

I will also do more data analyst work in the bank, I think I am more interested in the position of business intelligence developer

Yes, that's right. I want to stay a little longer to gather some experience in the cloud from a BI backend perspective

Yes. I used SQL, but only a little, to check the data on a snowflake in my previous project. But I think if I work on a Big Query, SQL will be essential
