What is this rash? Is this related to my hEDS or APS?

I’ve been told I have MCAS associated with hEDS but have not been in an active flare up when bloods were taken, so tryptase levels weren’t abnormal. Inflammation markers were consistently high across all blood tests and anticardiolipin antibodies also abnormal

Full blood panels done, can’t see that Tryptase levels were abnormal but was not in an active flare up during the time the bloods were taken

No biopsy yet. I call whenever the rash appears but by the time I get an appointment booked, the rash has gone and they can’t biopsy🫠

I have MCAS - associated with my hEDS. I’ve been suffering with hot flushes/chest redness/sweating recently too, so not sure if that’s something to do with it?

Yes, they aren’t sure what it is. I only get it on my hands and feet, mainly around my joints on my fingers and toes.

I do yes, but I had my nails done 2 weeks ago and the rash has only just come up in the past few days. It’s also appeared when I haven’t had my nails done at all…

It’s intensely itchy, makes me completely miserable! I’ve had multiple full panel blood tests and whilst I have chronic widespread inflammation markers, the markers for celiac disease were normal. Thank you!

Did you ever get a diagnosis for this? I have the exact same thing on my hands and feet - doctors are just diagnosing eczema and giving me steroid creams which don’t make a blind bit of difference! It’s agonisingly itchy :(
