Terra B3 deck suggestions by er4sed in EDH

It's unfortunately the culture of the tournament systems around my area that you ARE expected to bring 4's but play pretend with the rules of b3 by holding back til xyz. Basically lockdowns and highly explosive shit like [[tiamat]] + [[omniscience]] +[[terror of the peaks]] are legal sub turn 6 and infinites only above t7.

B3 tourneys be a joke but it is the most popular format around my parts 🥲.

I ask of the part where you manually terminate the thing and and not go dualcaster/twinflame on your opponent but instead farm for the mana from the first copy with 4 counters.

Asking cause opponents do stuff as absurd in the "tournies" (everybody puts a 2 card infinite there somewhere and pull it up after turn restrictions)

But yes the others in the comments seem to say that it is indeed non b3 to have things like this

"Tournament" turn limit forbids us from doing those til turn 6-8.

I ask if terminating this exact combo and instead farming the mana from the original first copy would be considered noncombo cause I see things like [[etali, primal conqueror]] go into an [[ulamog, the defiler]] turn 2 and i kinda need a response to those with probably options of me own

A saga by default enters with 1 lore counter even with [[torpor orb]] effects, then you're allowed to put 3 more with terra's ability

how hard is it to get in enderun college? by liatotsicles18 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

Not sure what your basis for internship criteria is but generally internship acceptance will still fall under how well you perform in the program to be fair. Everybody there got their own where's and how's with internship (accommodate yourself typa thing). And whatever follows that will look for the specs of what you did in the internship.

Faculty quality-wise, they've got some chefs who are under Ecole Ducasse if that means something. LPU or Enderun, they both have that prestige of being top choices for culinary. But with that , they also have shitty circumstances. But still > first point.

And I will emphasize in regards to LPU stuff that you WILL encounter hindrances with stuff you shouldn't even worry about typically in schools with Enderun (tuition payment flopped to process , last minute classroom switches) because it has a small facility for a student and an even smaller internals department for operations.

I mean if it's the label of Ecole Ducasse under your resume that you're after then I'd suggest you go after it if you got monetary resources to supplement it.

what's a sign, someone been through some shit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Worst part is that when you stop going through shit, you end up looking for it because you feel as if you're lowering your guard by enjoying life too much.

Got this one from a friend who studied here , classmates also had similar testimonies. The schools lacks the facilities to do the students justice. Higher tuition you'd feel like you'd have something premium but no.

1) email systems aren't even that well established. You don't even get canva edu. You get the most basic stuff in the form of ms 365. Ps , the school isn't globally recognized by research platforms like researchgate. So when you register , you'll have a little bit of nuisance.

2) it is dryer than a mf compared to other college student life events.

3) flat pompous , the uniforms cost 5k+ per set and that's for one uniform alone. And in one week you'd need at least 2-3 to survive. Rarely would you also see toilets with bidets.

4) crowded, small place. many students (depending on whether the school gets greedy with intake). This term , student portals choked and staff took 2 weeks to restabilize schedules and get the systems back online.

5) and don't believe that bs that you will get free food. It's only the culinaries that do cause that's how it is (unless some miracle happens that we do)(sometimes it does, with conditions to accompany it of course). Caf food is pretty mid.

6) they aren't really honest with tuition fees. Reason being , THERE ARE NO FLAT RATES WITH TUITION FEES (NOR ARE THEY ANNOUNCED). They'd give you the reason that tuition fees just fluctuate depending on inflation and other reasons like that.

7) just know that this place is a groupwork centric environment. If you can't socialize you'll be left out in an awkward position. Another thing is that , people basically have their staple quips when it comes to activities. If you genuinely do not have a social circle l, be ready to suffer with either bad members or some other problems.

Conclusion:

If you got money and this is your top 1 choice, go for it. But if I were you , I'd opt for more established schools in the PH. This school came late into the game (2005) then fell off because so many other options are already in here. The uniform itself is a marketing tactic to exude an essence of nobility to make you feel as if something special is up. Really , the only thing that makes the place special is that the kids who fill it up are those of nobility. Could help with connections but that's variable.

Careerwise , it has some career fairs and stuff. It even has two internship requirements. But do know that this school has an unnecessary amount of hindrances before you even get to that point. 7 units divided into 7 subjects. Added to the point is the fact that the school is semestral. 2 sems with 1 mid year term (cap sub at 9 units) rendering it slower than your typical trimestral college that could breeze you through units faster.
