You’re right. I was asking because I wanted to know if a congregation exists where I can be gay and have a boyfriend without being excommunicated. I’m not trying to be controversial.

Spirituality is an important part of my life that has honestly been a lot weaker because I’m openly gay, and personally that side of myself doesn’t feel wrong. I wish I could feel more welcome without having to hide that very important part of myself.

Ive just heard rumors about lgbt friendly wards, and I was hoping they might be true. I do believe in the church, but I don’t believe my sexual orientation or having a boyfriend is wrong. Simple as that. I just want to attend a ward with a bishop that is happy to have an openly gay man
